What You'll Do

• Lead the design and implementation of complex technical products and systems from concept through production.

• Own full-stack development across frontend interfaces, backend APIs, and supporting infrastructure.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape product architecture and the technical roadmap.

• Work directly with customers to understand their needs, gather feedback, and improve product functionality.

• Develop technical blueprints and reusable components that improve engineering efficiency and scalability.

• Contribute to engineering quality through detailed technical feedback, code reviews, and collaborative problem-solving.

• Participate in product and strategic decision-making, bringing a strong understanding of user needs and business priorities.

Required Qualifications

• 4–9 years of professional full-stack software engineering experience, including developing and delivering complex production products.

• Currently hold, or have recently held, a Senior Software Engineer title or equivalent Senior-level engineering title.

• Current or recent experience at a high-growth startup (Series A–D) with a strong engineering culture and high technical standards.

• Demonstrated experience leading the development of large or complex technical products from end to end.

• Strong, balanced technical capabilities across frontend UI development, backend API development, and infrastructure or service architecture.

• Expertise in technical problem-solving, data modeling, and API development.

• A product-oriented mindset, with the ability to understand user needs and contribute to product and strategic decisions.

• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.

• A collaborative, ownership-driven approach, with sound judgment, adaptability, and a willingness to provide and receive thoughtful technical feedback.

• A consistent employment history demonstrating meaningful tenure and sustained contributions.

• Ability to work onsite four days per week, Monday through Thursday, in New York City or San Francisco.

• Existing U.S. work authorization without the need for visa sponsorship. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

• Base Salary: 200,000–240,000

• Equity: Equity participation
