Your team You will join Team Laser, a multidisciplinary application team working with Product, UX, QA and other engineering teams. The team develops Smart Operator, analytics and related application capabilities, while collaborating across shared platforms and services. What you'll do Design, build and maintain complete product features across Angular frontends and .NET backend services. Turn product and UX concepts into accessible, responsive and maintainable user experiences. Design and evolve APIs and application services that expose building data safely and consistently. Integrate frontend applications with shared services, authentication, authorization and cloud resources. Build pragmatic automated tests across components, APIs and important end-to-end flows. Use logging, telemetry and meaningful error handling to make production behaviour understandable and supportable. Improve existing code through refactoring, dependency updates and removal of technical debt without disrupting customers. Collaborate on technical design, refinement, code reviews, releases and incident investigation. Document decisions and share knowledge so features can be maintained across team boundaries. What you bring Essentials Professional experience delivering production web applications across both frontend and backend. Strong TypeScript and Angular skills, including component design, state management and API integration. Practical C# and .NET experience building and maintaining web APIs and application services. Understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, JSON, asynchronous workflows and modern authentication and authorization concepts. Experience with automated testing at unit, integration and end-to-end level. A quality-focused approach to secure coding, maintainability, observability and performance. Ability to diagnose issues across browser, API, service and cloud boundaries. Comfort working in a multidisciplinary team and taking ownership from discovery through production support. Clear communication and the judgement to challenge unnecessary complexity. Useful additional experience Microsoft Azure, including application hosting, configuration, monitoring or managed services. Entity Framework, SQL or other relational data access technologies. Event-driven integration, real-time notifications or WebSockets. Micro-frontends, shared frontend libraries, design systems or Nx-based monorepos.
