Senior Software Engineer (Java)

At Mindbox we connect top IT talents with technology projects for leading enterprises across Europe.

You will join a global initiative developing Business Capacity Management applications — internal systems designed to optimize global frameworks and controls. As part of the Java Business Services team, you’ll work closely with international teams located in Poland and Germany, contributing to the design and enhancement of microservices architecture, while leading modernization initiatives towards Google Cloud Platform.

What you'll be doing

  • Design, develop, and maintain distributed applications in Java and microservice architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Owners, Architects, DevOps, and QA) in an Agile/DevOps setup.
  • Drive DevOps and Agile adoption across the team.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements to design scalable, reliable solutions.
  • Support and improve platforms using SRE principles, including incident and problem management.
  • Enhance observability through monitoring, alerting, and automation tools.

Who we're looking for

  • 4+ years of commercial experience in Java development.
  • Proven ability to design and implement microservices and RESTful APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and modern Java frameworks.
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles and CI/CD tooling.
  • Strong communication skills and an analytical mindset.
  • Fluent in English (C1); German is a plus.
  • Experience with Angular or willingness to work in a full-stack environment.
