We are a startup founded in 2021 in Cologne, Germany - our team consists of 35+ smart and "hungry" members working on Prematch in our offices in Cologne and Berlin (Marketing & Business Team) or remotely across Europe (Tech & Product Team). Experience: you have at least 8 years of relevant experience and feel confident in your role. Mobile expertise and full-stack approach: you have hands-on experience building and maintaining mobile apps (iOS, Android, or cross-platform), understand the specific challenges of mobile development, and you want to build full-stack using agentic engineering. Startup mindset: you enjoy working in a growing team and dynamic environment – and ideally, you’ve already gained experience in a startup or similarly fast-paced setting and like building things from the ground up. Your playing field Thousands of amateur footballers rely on Prematch every week to connect with their football community. To keep delivering an outstanding experience, we need someone who takes ownership of our mobile platform, builds high-quality features and continuously improves performance, architecture and code quality. Your goal: Shape the future of our Flutter app by building scalable solutions that create real value for our users. How you'll make a difference Product Thinking: You develop with a clear product focus and make technical decisions with user experience, business value and long-term scalability in mind. Feature Development: You build new features for our Flutter app and our entire stack – using a modern, AI-driven development approach . Ownership: You work independently within a product team , take ownership and actively contribute your experience to technical development. Engineering Excellence: You help raise code quality within the team and set high standards for maintainability, structure and technical excellence. Review Culture: Through thorough code reviews , you ensure that our mobile codebase remains consistent, robust and of high quality. Product & Design Collaboration: You work closely with Product and Design , constructively challenge requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions. App Performance: You continuously improve the performance, stability and reliability of our mobile application. Mobile Architecture: You actively shape architectural decisions in the mobile domain and contribute to a scalable technical vision. What you bring to the table AI-First Development: You use AI not as an add-on, but as an integral part of a modern development workflow. Flutter Expertise: You have strong knowledge of Dart and Flutter and develop high-performance, high-quality mobile applications. Architecture & Code Quality: SOLID principles , clean structures and sustainable code quality are second nature to you. Mobile UX: You understand how good mobile products work – from UI/UX principles to proven design patterns . Quality Mindset: You work in a test-driven and quality-oriented manner and are familiar with common testing methods in software development. Collaboration: You impress with a positive, proactive approach and actively contribute to strong team dynamics. Bonus Full-stack thinking: Ideally, you’ll also have knowledge of back-end and DevOps . Platform expertise: Experience in native Android/iOS development is a strong plus. Firebase stack: You have practical experience with Firebase as a building block of modern mobile architectures. Product Analytics: You use tools such as Amplitude and Braze to understand user behaviour and specifically increase engagement.
