Senior Software Engineer - SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning (SAC-P) to join our team.

In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver interactive, user-centric analytics solutions that drive actionable insights across enterprise functions. Working closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and developers, you will lead the delivery of scalable and performant SAC dashboards and planning applications that align reporting solutions with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver interactive, user-centric analytics solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud, including Story Design, Analytical Applications, and Planning
• Integrate SAC with SAP BW/4HANA, S/4HANA, and other enterprise data sources
• Build data models and connectivity using Live/Import connections, CDS views, and Calculation Views
• Optimize dashboard performance and enhance UX across SAC applications
• Develop custom logic and interactivity using SAC scripting (JavaScript-based)
• Lead technical teams, define architecture, and implement best practices for scalable analytics delivery
• Mentor team members and provide guidance within Agile project environments
• Apply data governance, security, and authorization concepts across analytics platforms
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and product owners to translate requirements into reporting solutions
• Ensure clarity, usability, and consistency in analytics delivery across enterprise functions

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP data platforms
• Expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), including Story Design, Analytical Applications, and Planning (SAC-P)
• Proficiency in integrating SAC with SAP BW, BW/4HANA, and S/4HANA
• Background in data modeling and connectivity using Live/Import connections, CDS views, and Calculation Views
• Skills in dashboard performance tuning and UX optimization
• Competency in SAC scripting (JavaScript-based logic)
• Understanding of data governance, security, and authorization concepts
• Capability to lead Agile projects and mentor technical teams
• Showcase of strong stakeholder collaboration and requirement translation skills
• Excellent command of written and spoken English (B2+ level)
