Senior Software Technical Writer Hourly rate: Competitive hourly rate (USD) Location - Remote (Supporting US based client) Our client is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join their team and support US-based projects. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation using Doxygen for software features developed by the client. A solid understanding of C++ is essential to ensure the documentation is accurate, clear, and comprehensive. This position requires close collaboration with development teams to ensure all documentation aligns with client specifications and best practices. Responsibilities: Write, update, and maintain technical documentation for software features using Doxygen. Collaborate closely with developers and engineers to ensure documentation is precise, clear, and thorough. Ensure all documentation is structured in a manner that is accessible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Maintain consistent communication with development teams to stay informed about new features and changes. Review and edit documentation for clarity, accuracy, and adherence to best practices. Requirements: Proficiency in C++ with the ability to understand and navigate the codebase. Hands-on experience with Doxygen or similar documentation tools. Strong English skills (written and spoken) with a minimum proficiency level of B2. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with development teams and stakeholders.
