Make an impact
The Senior Solution Consultant develops technically sound, commercially viable, and customer-focused warehouse automation concepts during the pre-sales phase. The role translates customer requirements and operational data into clear solution concepts, layouts, material flows, performance criteria, assumptions, risks, and proposal inputs.
- Understand customer operations, business objectives, constraints, and decision criteria.
- Review available data, specifications, and request-for-proposal documentation.
- Identify missing or unclear information and coordinate clarification.
- Define key requirements, assumptions, scope boundaries, and interfaces.
- Develop warehouse automation concepts, layouts, material flows, equipment strategies, and capacity requirements.
- Evaluate alternatives and recommend solutions based on customer needs, technical feasibility, value, and risk.
- Coordinate required analysis, calculations, and validation activities.
- Prepare solution documentation and technical inputs for proposals.
- Work with relevant internal and external specialists to address software, equipment, supplier, costing, and execution considerations.
- Maintain ownership of assigned solution deliverables and agreed dates.
- Support customer workshops, presentations, and technical clarification.
What you need to succeed
- Experience in warehouse automation, intralogistics, supply-chain consulting, solution design, engineering, or project delivery.
- Proficiency with Revit, applicable design, data-analysis, presentation, collaboration, and project-design tools.
- Travel to customers, reference sites, internal workshops, exhibitions, and training as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
