Senior Solutions Architect (m/f/d)

Your Profile We are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect (f/m/d) who brings a strong executive presence and a proven ability to bridge advanced technical solutions with tangible business outcomes. You will serve as a seasoned technologist and strategic partner to both customers and internal stakeholders. Experience & Leadership 10+ years in enterprise IT architecture / infrastructure 5+ years in pre-sales, consulting, or strategic advisory roles Proven track record engaging with C-level stakeholders and large enterprise accounts Strong ability to influence decisions and lead complex, multi-stakeholder engagements Technical Expertise Deep expertise in enterprise infrastructure architectures including compute, storage, virtualization, HCI, and modern data center environments Strong understanding of AI infrastructure ecosystems and data-centric architectures, including GPU platforms, scalable AI workloads, MLOps, and data governance Solid background in storage technologies, backup, and data lifecycle management Strong understanding of security and compliance principles, including data protection and secure architecture design Expertise in cloud platforms and hybrid architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP, private cloud) Advanced understanding of networking and connectivity technologies, including interconnection, private connectivity, SDN, MPLS, and low-latency architectures Familiarity with infrastructure automation and orchestration tools such as Terraform and Ansible Personal Skills Exceptional communication and storytelling skills , with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for executive audiences Strong consultative mindset and commercial acumen Highly credible, confident, and capable of operating in C-level environments Fluent in English and German Your responsibilities Own and lead the IT technical strategy for large, complex, and strategic enterprise pursuits Partner with Sales on long-term account strategy and technology roadmap discussions Drive technical win-strategy and risk mitigation on strategic and non-standard deals Act as a long-term trusted technical advisor for key enterprise customers Deliver C-level and executive-level briefings, architecture visioning sessions, and solution design workshops Architect and validate hybrid IT solutions spanning data centers, public and private cloud, interconnection, and high-performance networking Advise enterprise customers on workload placement, application modernization, data gravity, and infrastructure transformation Act as a senior technical voice in customer governance forums, executive reviews, and long-term roadmap discussions Collaborate closely with Sales leadership to shape account strategy, deal positioning, and value articulation Engage with cloud providers, network partners, and technology partners/vendors to build integrated enterprise solutions Provide structured customer feedback into Product and Platform teams to influence service evolution Contribute to regional thought leadership through customer events, industry forums, webinars, and strategic briefings Share architectural best practices and insights with Sales Engineers and other Solutions Architects through collaboration on customer engagements Influence regional go-to-market motions, solution frameworks, and technical messaging What We Offer: Open door culture with short communications paths and flat hierarchies Personalized onboarding plan (buddy system), education programs Personal development options in a fast-growing environment Attractive social benefits (Flexible working hours, digital meal vouchers, bike leasing, pension plan, etc.) Many additional extras like free drinks, fresh fruit and team events Our rapidly evolving business sector offers the opportunity to be part of a courageous and passionate team who work together to understand and meet the changing needs of our global customers.
