Position Summary Naryant is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant / Delivery Architect to lead client engagements from strategy through delivery. This is a senior consulting role for someone who can own the client relationship, guide executive conversations, shape transformation initiatives, and lead multidisciplinary teams through complex delivery. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded consultant first: someone who can understand a client’s business, identify operational and process challenges, manage scope and expectations, and translate needs into practical, data-driven technology solutions. Strong technical fluency is essential, but the role is not limited to architecture. This person will be expected to lead delivery, build trust with senior stakeholders, support change management, mentor internal teams, and play a leadership role in presales and solution strategy. In a lean, fast-moving consultancy, this role acts as a senior point of accountability across multiple concurrent engagements, ensuring clients feel confident, delivery risks are managed, and solutions create real business value. Key Responsibilities Client Leadership & Consulting - Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong relationships with executives, operational leaders, and technical stakeholders. - Lead client conversations, discovery sessions, workshops, and executive presentations with confidence and clarity. - Translate complex business, operational, and data challenges into clear solution strategies and delivery plans. - Manage client expectations, scope, priorities, risks, and trade-offs throughout the engagement lifecycle. - Bring strong judgment to high-pressure client situations, balancing client needs, delivery realities, and commercial considerations. Delivery Ownership - Own delivery outcomes across multiple concurrent client engagements, ensuring work is delivered with quality, clarity, and accountability. - Act as the senior point of accountability for delivery risk, solution direction, client alignment, and stakeholder confidence. - Partner with project managers, technical leads, developers, data engineers, analysts, and client teams to move work forward. - Identify delivery risks early and guide teams through sequencing, resourcing, escalation, and decision-making. - Ensure solutions remain practical, scalable, secure, and aligned to client business outcomes. Solution Strategy & Technical Fluency - Shape end-to-end solution approaches across data, cloud, integration, web, mobile, IoT, analytics, and enterprise systems. - Translate business requirements into solution designs that balance scalability, security, cost, usability, and time-to-value. - Provide technical guidance to internal teams without needing to be the sole hands-on technical owner. - Evaluate platforms, tools, integrations, and technical options based on client fit and delivery feasibility. - Support architecture standards, reusable patterns, and best practices across projects. Change Management & Process Design - Help clients understand and navigate the operational changes required to successfully adopt new technology. - Assess current-state processes, identify gaps, and design improved future-state workflows. - Support clients through transformation by aligning people, process, data, and technology. - Communicate change impacts clearly to stakeholders and help teams prepare for adoption, training, and operational readiness. Presales & Growth Leadership - Lead solution strategy during presales conversations, helping clients understand Naryant’s approach and value. - Own the technical and delivery story in front of prospective clients, including solution options, trade-offs, delivery approach, and business impact. - Partner with leadership on proposals, scoping, estimates, discovery, and solution narratives. - Help qualify opportunities by identifying client needs, delivery complexity, risks, and fit. - Contribute to winning work by building credibility and trust early in the sales cycle. Mentorship & Team Development - Mentor project managers, business analysts, developers, data engineers, and technical team members. - Help build bench strength by coaching team members on consulting skills, client communication, delivery thinking, and solution design. - Model strong consulting behaviours, including clear communication, accountability, curiosity, calm under pressure, and practical problem-solving. - Contribute to a culture of high standards, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Required Qualifications - 8+ years of experience in consulting, professional services, digital transformation, technology delivery, or a related client-facing environment. - Proven experience leading client engagements, managing senior stakeholders, and owning delivery outcomes. - Strong executive presence, with the ability to lead conversations with business leaders, technical teams, and decision-makers. - Demonstrated ability to manage scope, expectations, risk, and delivery complexity across concurrent engagements. - Experience guiding clients through transformation, including process design, operational change, and technology adoption. - Strong presales experience, including leading discovery, shaping solution narratives, supporting proposals, and presenting to prospective clients. - Strong technical fluency across modern software, data, cloud, integration, analytics, or enterprise technology environments. - Ability to translate business needs into practical solution approaches and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences. - Experience mentoring team members and raising delivery capability across a team. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred / Nice-to-Have - Experience designing or guiding cloud-based solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Background in solution architecture, data platforms, APIs, integrations, web, mobile, IoT, or analytics. - Experience in fleet/telematics, healthcare, transportation, public sector, municipal operations, or data-heavy environments. - Familiarity with Geotab or similar telematics platforms. - Experience in a small or scaling consultancy where roles are broad, hands-on, and client-facing. - Exposure to machine learning, advanced analytics, or AI-enabled solution design. - Relevant cloud, architecture, agile, project delivery, or change management certifications.
