Senior Sourcing Specialist – E-Commerce D2C

At Helavo, we are dedicated to improving our customers' everyday mobility through innovative and high-quality mobility products.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Sourcing Specialist to strengthen our product sourcing and development team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new product opportunities, sourcing and developing products, managing supplier relationships, and continuously improving our existing portfolio.

You will work closely with different departments and take ownership of sourcing projects from initial market research through supplier selection, product development and production.

Key Responsibilities

Product Sourcing & Development: Identify, source and develop new products within our mobility product portfolio.

Market & Competitor Research: Analyze market trends, competitors, customer reviews and product performance to identify new opportunities and potential product improvements.

Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate and develop reliable suppliers and maintain strong long-term supplier relationships.

Product Improvement: Evaluate existing products and samples and identify opportunities to improve functionality, quality, design, packaging and customer experience.

Strategic Sourcing: Manage sourcing projects from initial research and RFQs through sampling, supplier selection and production.

Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, MOQs, payment terms, lead times and other commercial conditions.

Quality & Compliance: Ensure sourced products meet Helavo's quality, safety and compliance requirements.

Performance Analysis: Monitor product performance, customer reviews, returns and quality issues and translate findings into concrete product improvements.

Risk Management: Identify potential sourcing and supply risks and develop appropriate solutions.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Management, Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Service and other internal teams.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in sourcing, procurement, buying or product development, preferably within e-commerce, D2C or consumer products.
• Proven experience managing sourcing and product development projects independently.
• Strong experience in supplier selection, evaluation and relationship management.
• Excellent negotiation skills and a good understanding of pricing, margins, MOQs and commercial terms.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with market, competitor and customer review analysis.
• Hands-on approach to product development, sampling and product improvements.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage several projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Fluent English.
• Willingness to travel when required.
• Experience with Amazon, Helium 10, Keepa or similar e-commerce tools is an advantage.
