The Digital Marketing Senior Specialist (“Senior Specialist”) will support the strategic and day-to-day operation of Ryan’s marketing automation and digital campaign programs, with primary responsibility for Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot), Knak, email marketing, landing pages, forms, campaign operations, lead flow, and quality assurance.
Working as part of a global Digital Marketing team, the Senior Specialist will provide dedicated support to the Marketing Automation, Lead Flow, and Journey Management function while also being cross-trained across broader Digital Marketing capabilities. The role will help ensure campaigns are executed accurately, efficiently, and consistently and that prospect and lead data flows properly through Ryan’s marketing technology ecosystem.
Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results
People:
Create a positive team member experience through effective collaboration, cross-training, documentation, and knowledge sharing across the global Digital Marketing team.
Client:
Support internal stakeholders by building, testing, launching, and optimizing email campaigns, landing pages, forms, and related digital assets in accordance with established Digital Marketing standards, workflows, and service levels.
Partner with Field Marketing, Events, Marketing Performance and Technology, CRM, and external partners to translate campaign requirements into accurate and effective digital execution.
Value:
Build, configure, test, and deploy assets and workflows within Salesforce Account Engagement and Knak, including emails, landing pages, forms, form handlers, lists, completion actions, automation rules, Engagement Studio programs, segmentation, scoring, and nurture programs.
Support lead capture, qualification, routing, attribution, campaign tracking, Salesforce handoff, UTMs, custom redirects, and related QA requirements.
Maintain marketing database hygiene and support data quality, suppression logic, segmentation, duplicate management, acquisition data integration, and synchronization between Account Engagement and Salesforce.
Perform comprehensive campaign QA, including links, forms, rendering, personalization, tracking, automation logic, and data flow.
Support campaign performance monitoring and post-campaign analysis to identify optimization opportunities and improve future execution.
Maintain platform documentation, operational standards, user access, production schedules, and established campaign workflows.
Assist with broader Digital Marketing activities, including Ryan.com updates, SEO, analytics validation, paid search, and paid social, as part of the team’s cross-training and coverage model.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university, and four to six years of related digital marketing, marketing automation, campaign operations, or marketing technology experience required. Previous experience working within, or supporting clients in, the professional services industry, preferably Tax, Accounting, or Financial Services, would be highly beneficial.
General Skills:
Proven hands-on experience with Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot) and Salesforce required.
Experience building and managing email campaigns, landing pages, forms, automation rules, and nurture programs.
Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Specialist certification preferred.
Experience with Knak or comparable email and landing-page creation platforms preferred.
Strong understanding of marketing automation, lead lifecycle management, segmentation, campaign tracking, and data quality.
Familiarity with Salesforce Campaigns, lead routing, attribution, and marketing-to-CRM handoff processes.
Google Ads certification preferred.
Google Analytics certification preferred.
Proficient in HTML; familiarity with CSS and JavaScript would be beneficial.
Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn and support multiple digital marketing platforms.
Strong quality assurance skills and attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and complete work according to deadlines and service levels.
Proactive self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively within a global team.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working within project management applications such as ClickUp, Asana, or similar platforms.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have advanced skills in Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot), Salesforce, email marketing, landing-page development, marketing automation, HTML, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Knak, B2B Marketing Analytics, Google Analytics, Google Ads, paid social platforms, project management applications, and content management systems is preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
Hybrid remote working environment.
Position requires regular interaction with employees at all levels of the Firm; interaction with external vendors, technology partners, developers, and clients may also be necessary.
Role operates as part of a global Digital Marketing team and may require coordination with colleagues in other time zones.
Frequent long periods of sitting while working at a computer.
Travel requirement: less than 25%.
