Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Amazon and channel management specialist to join our Sales Team in Japan and help elevate Shure’s brand position in this dynamic market. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive revenue growth through Amazon Japan and channel partner to ensure the achievement of sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales and channel management plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Drive growth through channel sales initiatives, including direct engagement with Amazon Japan and Channel partner.
  • Manage and lead Amazon Japan and channel partners in Consumer Retail, including annual and quarterly planning, promotional activities, pricing negotiations, and positioning Shure as a leading brand.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Amazon Japan and channel partner to drive business growth by enhancing brand awareness and promoting Shure’s benefits both online and at retail locations.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and gather competitive intelligence for activity optimization.
  • Obtains sales related data by constantly accessing Amazon Vendor Central and Amazon representatives to monitor, analyze the key metrics and propose action plans.
  • Collaborate as the primary account owner with internal marketing and product management to lead the creation and execution of account-specific business plans, including promotional campaigns, events, and creative visual merchandising at authorized dealers.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Shure products, including inventory, pricing, features, technical specifications, and underlying technologies and design principles, to envision appropriate usage scenarios and effectively address customer inquiries.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, analytical reports, and maintain client.
  • Participate in internal weekly sales meetings, monthly company-wide meetings and provide updates on performance, goals, and challenges.
  • Represent Shure professionally and foster a positive reputation in the industry through accountability and customer-focused interactions.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the manager based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • Experience in B2B sales or key account management (approximately 7+ years)
  • Practical experience in sales for e-commerce or the retail distribution industry.
  • Proven track record in channel sales and management.
  • Ability to develop and execute sales strategies and report based on data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of the e-commerce business and retail channel business.
  • Experience with consumer retail visual merchandising (including shelf displays, signage, and space optimization).
  • Awareness of the latest trends in consumer electronics markets.
  • Creative and innovative mindset with strong technical affinity.
  • Positive attitude and team player with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Native-level proficiency in Japanese. And good written and read English skills for email communication.
  • Ability to travel domestically as needed.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Basic conversation in English level is acceptable.
  • Experience in the musical instruments, music-related industry or content creator industry.
  • Experience in Amazon (Vendor and Seller) and channel partner management.
  • Practical experience with Amazon Vendor Central, Seller Central.
