Senior Staff Accountant

This role is open to remote but preference will be given to candidates in the Orlando and Tampa areas. Job Description Gather data for forensic accounting engagements; analyze information by developing spreadsheet reports. Prepare adjusting journal entries, trial balance, and bank reconciliations. Process accounts payable and set up Chart of Accounts and Vendors. Handle payroll processing and transaction allocations. Engage in client interaction and financial statement preparation. Conduct tax preparation and other accounting responsibilities as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. A minimum of 4 years of recent experience in private company or public accounting with progressive scope and responsibilities. Strong communication, organizational, analytical, project management, client service, and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software, with a preference for QuickBooks. Creative Solutions & Fixed Assets software proficiency are a plus. Ability to embrace and learn new technology to solve client issues. Experience in developing strong remote team relationships based on trust, accountability, integrity, and sharing of best practices. Commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality while working with client data. Work Hours & Benefits This full-time role requires a capacity and commitment to work 40 hours per week, with no weekends.
