Senior Staff Accountant / Tax Professional — Fully Remote (U.S.) About the Role An established public accounting firm is looking to add an experienced Staff Accountant / Tax Professional to its team. This is a fully remote position and candidates may work from anywhere in the U.S. Responsibilities Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules Record and review adjusting journal entries Prepare individual and business tax returns Perform account reconciliations and analyze financial information Support month-end and year-end close processes Communicate directly with clients as needed Qualifications 3+ years of public accounting or tax experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA or active progress toward CPA license preferred Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and individual/business tax preparation Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment Strong written and verbal communication skills What's Offered Competitive salary: $70,000 – $90,000, commensurate with experience Fully remote — work from anywhere in the U.S. Standard benefits package Opportunity to grow with a firm investing in long-term team structure To Apply This is a confidential search; the hiring firm's name and exact location will be shared with candidates who move forward in the process.
