The Senior Strategic Sourcing Agent leads sourcing initiatives supporting approximately $100M in direct and indirect spend for the Pall Aerospace business. This role partners closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Global Sourcing teams to drive sourcing, outsourcing, insourcing, subcontract management, and supplier strategies aligned with business objectives. Responsibilities include developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships and contract negotiations, analyzing market conditions and supply alternatives, and delivering results against key performance metrics including cost reduction, margin enhancement, supplier performance, DPO, and global value sourcing. The role also supports supplier development, collaborates on design and manufacturability reviews to optimize cost and performance, and provides guidance to tactical purchasing teams while ensuring compliance with procurement policies, supplier governance, and sourcing best practices.
This position reports to the Senior Director of Supply Chain, is part of the Supply Chain organization, and will be fully remote. The role may require additional hours and weekend work to support business needs.
This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Continuously evaluate existing supply base to determine opportunities for improvement.
- Design, lead, negotiate, and implement multiyear Pall contracts (as applicable) including RFQs, RFIs, LTAs, Pricing Level Agreements, Stocking Agreements. Etc.
- Assist in vendor transitions (Outsourcing, Insourcing, Vendor to Vendor)
- Maximize “year over year” working capital improvements.
- Interface with procurement team to establish “local” manufacturing site inputs / requirements are aligned with center led strategy.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related.
- Minimum of 3 years of Supply Chain/Procurement/Strategic Sourcing /Category Management experience.
- Proven negotiation skills, with demonstrated performance results
- Domestic and/or Global sourcing experience for a large USA or multinational manufacturing company.
- Highly analytical with experience in tools for RFI, RFQ, Reverse Auction,
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to travel as required, 25-35% expected
- Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle in support of job responsibilities.
- Must be capable of performing job duties in office, distribution, and customer-site settings, including occasional lifting, climbing stairs, and extended periods of mobility.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Knowledge of aerospace and defense programs, customers and products.
- Knowledge of US Government contracting processes: ITAR, FAR/DFAR regulations, Small Business Plans, Assertion of Commerciality procedures, price/cost analysis, building a contracting purchase order folder with government certifications (FFATA, DEBAR, Anti-Lobby, Responsibility Matters, CAS, etc).
- Experience with New Product Introduction processes and supporting internal stakeholders (specifically the coordination of RFQ’s; putting together, submitting, tracking, BOM review and analysis).
- Ability to develop relationships with suppliers.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels internally and externally. Possess very strong negotiating skills.

The annual salary range for this role is 90K-120K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
