WHAT WE OFFER Competitive salary of $135,000 - $175,000, plus discretionary bonuses Employee ownership through our ESOP Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off A collaborative, respectful culture where your work and your client relationships are valued WHAT YOUR DAYS WILL LOOK LIKE: As Senior Superintendent, you'll partner with the Project Manager in leading the day-to-day project execution, overseeing skilled in-house crews, carpenters, support staff, and trades. You’ll be responsible for coordinating subcontractors, managing project schedules, directing in-house crews, and maintaining a safe, welcoming, organized, and productive job site. As Senior Superintendent your role is to ensure every project is delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and to the high-quality standards our clients expect. You’ll coordinate the work of our project teams and trade partners while maintaining clear communication and accountability throughout the build. Your leadership will be instrumental in delivering exceptional homes and creating a professional, collaborative experience for our clients and everyone involved in the project. Your responsibilities will include: Leading the project on site. Supervise all construction activities, in-house crews, and subcontractors, and hold every trade to Allen's quality standards. Serving as the client's trusted guide. Build strong, professional relationships with homeowners, architects, interior designers, trades, and our team. Communicate progress clearly, set expectations, and handle sensitive conversations with tact and discretion. Protecting the schedule. Maintain the master schedule and three-week look-aheads, spot slippage early, solve problems before they grow, and coach the team on planning and execution. Delivering on detail. Interpret complex drawings and specifications, understand every contract requirement, and make sure the finished work matches the design intent. Partnering on cost and scope. Support budgets, costs, and change orders, and work with our pre-construction team on estimates, schedules, and general conditions. Keeping sites safe and well run. Maintain safe, clean, well-organized job sites that reflect well on our clients and our company. Finishing strong. Manage the punch list and closeout so every client's experience ends as well as it began. Qualifications REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS: 15+ years as a superintendent on high-end custom residential projects, ideally including homes in the $10M+ range. Experience with architect-driven design, fine finishes, and complex details, and with both remodels and custom builds. A proven record of building trust with discerning clients, architects, and designers, with the professionalism and discretion luxury clients expect. Strong command of scheduling, subcontractor management, quality control, and job site safety. Clear, calm communication and a habit of solving problems early. A continuous-learner mindset. Experience with green building or high-performance homes is a plus. Experience with Procore is a plus. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in an office and outdoors on active construction sites, with exposure to rain, heat, cold, humidity, vibration, and moving equipment. The employee must be able to move about job sites, including uneven terrain; remain stationary for extended periods; inspect work at or near ground level; use a computer and phone; read plans and documents; communicate effectively; and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
