Are you driven to optimize high-tech operations, balance complex supply chains, and build scalable processes in the world of quantum computing?
At Qblox, we're accelerating the worldwide race to build scalable quantum computers, providing the world's best quantum control stacks. We're not just building hardware; we're building the future.
Where you come in:
As our (Senior) Supply Planner, you will take full ownership of our finished goods strategy, master production scheduling (MPS), and finished inventory deployment at our headquarters in Delft. Sitting right at the intersection of Commercial Sales, Operations, Procurement, and Assembly/Calibration, you will make sure that our high-precision quantum hardware reaches customers on time while keeping working capital and inventory risks balanced.
We are looking for someone with a proactive, structured mindset who combines solid supply planning expertise with the agility of a fast-growing scale-up. You will be instrumental in professionalizing our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP/SIOP) cadence, digitizing our supply chain planning tools, and preparing our operations for the next phase of global growth.
What you'll do:
Master the Schedule & Allocation: Develop and execute the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for standard and custom finished goods. You’ll translate commercial demand into feasible build schedules for assembly, testing, and calibration while managing order promising (ATP/CTP).
Drive S&OP & Alignment: Lead the monthly Supply Planning review within the S&OP process—highlighting capacity bottlenecks, supply-demand gaps, and revenue impacts—and facilitate weekly S&OE sessions to tackle short-term component shortages or shifting timelines.
Strategise & Optimise Inventory: Establish target safety stocks, reorder points, and cycle stock rules for finished goods and critical sub-assemblies. You’ll collaborate closely with R&D on NPI/ECM phase-in/phase-out strategies to minimize excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory.
Digitise & Scale: Lead the deployment and digitization of modern supply chain planning tools, automate purchase order placement and confirmation workflows, and continuously refine ERP/MRP parameters to reflect real-world lead times and yields.
Collaborate & Inform: Act as the key operational bridge across Sales Operations, Procurement, Engineering, and Senior Leadership, establishing core KPIs like OTIF, Schedule Attainment, and Forecast Consumption.
Why you'll love it:
Ignite Your Drive: You'll be working in the most exciting industry right now – quantum computing – a true deep-tech frontier where your work directly enables world-class physics research.
Drive the Future: Help build and mature our operational backbone, playing a direct role in how Qblox scales from a hyper-growth scale-up into an established industry leader.
Collaborate with Brilliance: Work alongside some of the smartest, most innovative minds on the planet in an open, multidisciplinary environment.
Unleash Potential: High ownership, direct impact on core operations, and clear avenues for long-term growth (such as moving towards Supply Chain Manager or Head of Supply Chain).
Enough about us, what about you?
To truly excel and lead the charge in this role, we envision you'll have the following skills and experience:
The Non-Negotiables:
Supply Planning & MPS Expertise: 6+ years of progressive hands-on experience in supply planning, master production scheduling (MPS), or finished goods inventory management within a high-tech hardware, complex electronics, PCBA, or semiconductor environment (high-mix/low-volume).
S&OP / SIOP Depth: Proven track record in participating in or leading Sales & Operations Planning cycles, running capacity reviews, and managing inventory buffer strategies.
Systems & Data Literacy: Advanced proficiency with modern ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Odoo, NetSuite) and advanced data modeling skills in Excel/Sheets (familiarity with SQL or Python is a big plus).
Corporate & Scale-up Agility: Experience navigating both structured corporate environments and dynamic, fast-paced scale-up/start-up settings.
Fluent English & Stakeholder Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to bridge cross-functional teams, manage expectations, and present clear trade-offs to senior leadership. Dutch is helpful, but not required.
Educational Background: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
A security screening and reference check may form part of the selection process for this position.
Acquisition in response to our vacancies by recruitment agencies is not appreciated.
