  • Support supplier-related initiatives and high-spend category activities through operational analysis, coordination, and collaboration with appropriate teams.
  • Maintain effective relationships with client leadership, Purchasing, Finance, Accounts Payable, Capital Management, IT, Vizient NOC and NPC teams, and suppliers while adhering to established governance and organizational responsibilities.
  • Independently manage assigned operational programs, projects, and analytical activities, leveraging subject-matter expertise and influencing outcomes without direct supervisory authority.
  • Apply advanced AI capabilities to enhance operational analysis, decision-making, communication, and process improvements while evaluating outputs for accuracy, relevance, and responsible use.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Demonstrated experience independently managing complex operational workstreams, resolving issues, and influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience interpreting operational metrics, spend data, purchasing compliance, and workflow trends.
  • Knowledge of healthcare supply chain operations, procurement processes, purchase order management, supplier coordination, and financial controls preferred.
  • Experience supporting operational improvement initiatives, process documentation, technology adoption, and implementation of approved solutions.
  • Advanced AI proficiency, including the ability to apply AI tools to complex business challenges, critically evaluate outputs, and promote effective and responsible AI adoption.
  • Familiarity with procurement, supply chain, or inventory management technologies such as Oracle Cloud, Workday, GHX, Wavemark, or similar systems preferred.
