We work with institutions across a wide range of sectors (B2B) and provide our services to hospitals in Germany and Austria, NGOs, municipal administrations, schools and kindergartens, public authorities, and the asylum sector.

We give non‑German‑speaking people a voice and help overcome language barriers easily, quickly, and securely through remote interpreting.

Your responsibilities

• Own the architecture of our network and infrastructure and consult on making the key technical decisions
• Design, operate and improve our network: routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs and WAN connectivity (e.g. Cisco)
• Keep our real-time voice and video traffic reliable, secure and low-latency
• Run and improve load balancing (e.g. F5) and network security
• Automate recurring work such as configuration, patching, provisioning and monitoring
• Lead upgrades, migrations and lifecycle management
• Act as the go-to person for complex incidents and escalations
• Support the wider infrastructure (virtualization, backup) together with the team
• Mentor colleagues and share knowledge across the team
• Work with development, security, operations and external partners, and keep documentation clear

Your profile

• Hands-on experience designing and running production networks and infrastructure
• Solid knowledge of routing and switching (VLANs, OSPF/BGP), firewalls and VPNs
• Good understanding of network security practices
• Experience leading infrastructure projects or migrations from planning to completion
• Fluent English; German is a plus
• Clear communication and a practical, business-minded approach: you know not everything can be done at once

Nice to have

• Virtualization experience (e.g. Proxmox)
• Load balancer experience (e.g. F5)
• Backup solutions (e.g. CommVault)
• Monitoring and alerting (e.g. Prometheus/Grafana)
• CI/CD experience (e.g. Azure DevOps)
• Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP

• The minimum annual gross salary for this full-time position (all-in) is € 60,000. Depending on qualifications and experience, we are willing to offer a higher salary.
