Senior Systems Engineer

Senior Systems Engineer PSI Talent are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to help build out, maintain, and troubleshoot our rapidly expanding infrastructure. You will be part of a talented team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission-critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security. Qualified systems engineers will have a background in automotive, aerospace, aviation, avionics, nuclear or MOD systems engineering. Senior Systems Engineer Responsibilities Manage and monitor all installed systems Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application system management tools Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems availability Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions and work with engineers to implement those fixes Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks Participate in the design of information and operational support systems Support SysML model development Capture engineering requirements within Enterprise Architect Senior Systems Engineer's Requirements Degree or equivalent in an Engineering discipline Proven working experience in Systems & Requirements Engineering using model based approach Experience with monitoring systems Experience with Enterprise Architect software Senior Systems Engineer's Benefits Annual performance-based review Annual performance-based bonus (% dependant on role) Private healthcare funded by the Company (option to add dependants at the individuals cost) 4 x group life assurance 6% matched contribution on pension (on qualifying earnings) Holiday Buy & Sell Hybrid Working or Early Finish Friday 25 days holiday entitlement, plus Bank Holidays.
