Summary

Guidewire’s Global People Organization helps scale, shape, and strengthen the company by building the capabilities, culture, and clarity needed for the future. In Talent Attraction, you will work with leaders across the business to build a scalable, inclusive, and data-informed talent engine that supports growth in India and globally. You will join a collaborative team focused on continuous improvement, responsible use of technology, and creating a clear, engaging candidate experience.

As a Senior Talent Attraction Partner, you will shape hiring strategies for critical roles across technology and business functions, from workforce planning through onboarding. You will combine market intelligence, stakeholder influence, recruiting expertise, and responsible AI adoption to help Guidewire attract exceptional talent and deliver on its mission to transform how the world’s property and casualty insurers do business.

Job Description

What you’ll do

  • Partner with senior business leaders, engineering and product managers, and Human Resources Business Partners to translate business priorities into practical talent strategies, hiring plans, and clear role requirements.
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment across Software Engineering, Product Management, Cloud and DevOps, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Professional Services, Sales, and other functions.
  • Support workforce planning by assessing demand, prioritizing roles, coordinating resource allocation, and developing hiring forecasts aligned with organizational growth.
  • Build proactive and inclusive talent pipelines through LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean and X-ray searches, referrals, specialist communities, AI-enabled sourcing tools, and competitor talent mapping.
  • Influence hiring decisions by calibrating requirements, designing effective interview approaches, improving assessment quality, and providing data-backed recommendations to hiring managers and leadership.
  • Deliver talent market intelligence, including talent availability, competitor activity, compensation considerations, skill demand, and market-specific hiring challenges.
  • Improve recruitment efficiency through structured processes, clear hiring-manager accountability, effective pipeline management, and consistent candidate communication. Track measures such as time to fill, offer acceptance, offer-to-join ratio, source effectiveness, diversity hiring, and funnel conversion.
  • Strengthen Guidewire’s candidate experience and employer brand by communicating an inclusive culture, meaningful work, career growth, trusted leadership, access to innovative projects, and opportunities to learn and evolve.
  • At Guidewire, we foster a culture of curiosity, innovation, and responsible use of AI—empowering our teams to continuously leverage emerging technologies and data-driven insights to enhance productivity and outcomes.

What you’ll bring

Required

  • Significant experience leading full-cycle recruitment for technology and business roles, preferably in a software, cloud, SaaS, or technology-enabled organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to advise senior stakeholders, influence hiring decisions, calibrate role requirements, and manage competing priorities with sound judgment.
  • Strong sourcing and market-mapping capability, including advanced search techniques, referrals, talent communities, and competitor research.
  • Experience using recruitment data and market intelligence to recommend actions, improve funnel performance, and support workforce planning.
  • Ability to build trust across People, Compensation, Finance, People Operations, and business teams while coordinating approvals, offers, and onboarding.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, organization, problem-solving, and candidate-relationship skills.
  • Commitment to inclusive sourcing and structured, equitable selection practices that help broaden access to opportunity.
  • Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your current role as well as data-driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.

Preferred

  • Degree preferred or equivalent practical experience in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience recruiting for specialized areas such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, cybersecurity, cloud platforms, DevOps, product management, or professional services.
  • Experience mentoring recruiters, sharing sourcing practices, and contributing to recruiting strategy, operational excellence, or employer-brand initiatives.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, recruitment analytics, LinkedIn Recruiter, AI-assisted sourcing, and workflow automation.

Your Impact

We believe in clarity and setting you up for success. In your first six months, you will build relationships with key leaders, understand Guidewire’s workforce priorities, establish hiring plans for critical roles, strengthen proactive talent pipelines, and introduce practical insights on talent markets, sourcing effectiveness, and funnel health. You will help improve measurable outcomes such as hiring-manager responsiveness, time to fill, offer acceptance, offer-to-join conversion, candidate experience, and diverse pipeline representation while supporting the Global People Organization’s priorities around AI fluency, scalable talent engines in growth markets, stronger employer brand, and a consistent global candidate experience. Your broader influence will be felt in the teams you help build, the candidates whose experience you improve, and the business outcomes enabled by bringing the right capabilities to Guidewire at the right time.
