As Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), you will join our Asia Pacific (APAC) Talent Acquisition team and partner with the business to bring in the talent across all roles in the region, including senior and complex roles. This hybrid role is based in our Rydalmere office, with two days a week on site, and reports to the Sr Talent Acquisition Manager, APAC. You will partner closely with the Head of Human Resources, ANZ and be an active contributor to the broader HR team.
Why this role matters:
At IDEXX, every role contributes to improving the health and wellbeing of pets, people and livestock through innovative diagnostic and software solutions. In this role, you will connect candidates with career opportunities that bring our purpose to life, and partner with hiring managers across every line of business and function in ANZ as a trusted talent advisor. Your resourceful, creative approach to finding talent, and your ability to influence hiring decisions with data and market insight, will help ensure candidates and hiring managers alike have an exceptional experience with IDEXX.
In this role:
- You’ll independently own full-cycle recruiting for roles across ANZ, from vacancy profiling and search strategy through offer and onboarding handoff.
- You’ll build tailored, data-informed recruitment strategies with hiring managers and HR, and coach and advise managers on structured interviewing and selection decision-making.
- You’ll proactively source and screen candidates through networks, social media, job boards, referrals, and agencies, and keep pipelines active.
- You’ll deliver a professional, positive experience for candidates and hiring managers.
- You’ll build partnerships with universities and external organisations to connect with early career and graduate talent and raise awareness of IDEXX as an employer through campaigns, career fairs and industry events.
- You’ll apply Australian and New Zealand employment practices, working with HR as needed.
- You’ll keep recruiting data accurate, use hiring and market data to recommend improvements, contribute to enhancing TA tools, templates and processes, and adopt new tools and AI-enabled workflows as they roll out.
- You’ll support hiring in other regions as global demand requires.
What you need to succeed:
- You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- You have 5-7 years of full-cycle talent acquisition experience across multiple functions and levels, including senior and complex roles, ideally in ANZ, with working knowledge of local markets and employment practices.
- You have experience advising and influencing hiring managers and HR on talent acquisition strategy and delivering talent through a range of sourcing approaches, including engaging passive candidates.
- You have experience using data and recruiting systems to manage pipelines, inform strategy, and prioritise across many open roles.
- You have experience contributing to improvements in TA tools, templates or processes.
- Your experience with AI-enabled recruiting workflows is a plus.
