- Communicate directly with clients by phone, video, and our client portal.
- Represent clients with significant IRS and state collection issues, including installment agreements, offers in compromise, penalty abatement, and lien and levy resolution.
- Help mentor staff and contribute to quality review.
Qualifications
- Active CPA license (required).
- 5+ years of public accounting experience, including substantial tax preparation.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, bookkeeping, and accrual and cash-basis accounting.
- Working knowledge of trust and estate (1041) and nonprofit (990) tax returns.
- Bookkeeping background.
- Proven ability to work remotely: self-directed, organized, and dependable with deadlines.
- Professional, clear communication with clients of all kinds.
- Secure, private home workspace and reliable high-speed internet.
- IRS collection representation experience is a plus.
- Experience with CCH Axcess Tax is helpful; experience with TaxDome or similar practice management software is a plus.
What We Value
- Steady judgment and a calm approach during busy season.
- Ownership of your work from start to finish.
- Integrity and respect for client confidentiality.
- Someone who enjoys being a dependable, long-term part of a team.

- Bonus plan based on realization
- 401(k) plan
- Paid time off and paid holidays
- Section 125 cafeteria plan
- Paid CPE and CPA license renewal
- Fully remote work with firm-supplied equipment: laptop, computer, three monitors, and camera
