In this versatile role, you’ll not only own all analytics around our GMV reporting, but also play a key part in shaping the underlying processes and data flows. You’ll have plenty of room to actively build and develop an important area of Finance and to drive critical change. Working closely with Finance Leadership, you’ll lead your own team and help shape sustainable processes and automation
What you’ll do:
  • Tech infrastructure and process design: You ensure a high-performance analytics infrastructure to manage our rapidly growing travel volume (GMV) reliably, efficiently and at scale. A large part of your work will focus on making existing workflows more efficient and acting as a driver for lasting change: designing and steering projects for continuous process improvement and targeted (AI) automation.
  • Financial steering & impact: You take charge of steering and analyzing our entire GMV. Rather than just reporting, you analyze the numbers and derive concrete recommendations for action. To do this, you master our liquidity and risk KPIs.
  • Business partnering: You’re an important sparring partner for the Finance leadership and work closely and cross-functionally with Accounting, Treasury, Product, Supplier Management and other teams (e.g. Customer Care).
  • Data quality & transparency: You love accuracy and ensure consistently high data quality, so that all financial information is transparent and reliable. You love understanding exactly how data flows work and directing them where they create the most value.
  • Leadership: You lead and develop a high-performing team specializing in revenue analysis, finance operations and analytics.
What you bring:
  • You have at least five years of experience in an analytical, process-driven field under your belt, ideally in finance.
  • You love data. You don’t just read numbers; you can interpret them, put them in context and translate them into concrete recommendations.
  • You’ve already successfully demonstrated your leadership skills and have previously worked as a team lead.
  • You’re known for working with great precision and have the drive to proactively push change within the company.
  • You spot problems early, structure them, abstract from individual cases and develop sound solutions, which you document clearly, align with stakeholders and implement consistently.
  • You proactively take ownership and are excited to help build processes and structures from the ground up.
  • You have experience with modern BI and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau or comparable solutions).
  • Ideally, you have scripting and coding skills (Python, Google Apps Script) and are keen to apply AI and automation in a targeted way in finance.

  • We offer hybrid work models or 100% remote options (depending on the role). This position is hybrid, based in Munich (50% in-office / 50% remote).
