Design cloud-native backends using Node.js, GraphQL, and AWS. Establish technical direction, coding standards, and engineering best practices. Mentor engineers and provide high-value architectural code reviews. Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools. Build and integrate React-based micro frontends. Promote test-first development, automation, and CI/CD practices. Align technical strategies with business objectives. Improve application performance, observability, and security. Requirements 7+ years of backend development experience with Node.js. Strong full-stack experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, and GraphQL. Experience designing scalable microservices and serverless architectures. Strong knowledge of GraphQL, REST, and event-driven architectures. Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, and RDS/Aurora. Experience with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB. Strong background in unit testing, CI/CD, and automation. Experience with Jest and React Testing Library. Experience using Claude Code, Amazon Q, Cursor or GitHub Copilot Proven ability to mentor engineers and act as a technical authority.
