About Thesis
Thesis is an independent agency working at the intersection of creativity, strategy, and technology. We partner with ambitious brands to solve complex business and marketing challenges and create ideas, experiences, and systems built to scale. We're evolving how we work to bring thinking and making closer together, build more accountable teams, and use technology and AI to expand what's creatively possible.
Role Overview
As a Senior Technical Producer at Thesis, you are a delivery strategist, product owner, and trusted client partner who turns complex business needs into seamless digital and technical execution. This role goes beyond tracking milestones—you will shape delivery strategy across multidisciplinary teams, acting as the essential translator between client ambitions and technical delivery. You're a thinker and a maker with operational clarity, strategic instincts, and the ability to move fluidly between high-level roadmapping and roll-up-your-sleeves execution.
You'll play a critical role in establishing delivery rigor across high-value workstreams, translating complex workflows and processes into crisp product requirements to deliver operational systems built in Airtable. In parallel, you'll partner closely with Accountand Technology leadership to ensure project profitability, anticipate client needs, and build operational frameworks that allow our teams to make great work efficiently and at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Strategy & Execution
Lead delivery strategy and end-to-end execution across high-value, multidisciplinary, and technical workstreams.
Direct integrated delivery frameworks, tailoring agile-hybrid and waterfall methodologies to match project and client dynamics.
Manage day-to-day operations across scopes, budgets, resourcing, and timelines, ensuring delivery excellence and project profitability.
Act as an escalation point and proactive problem-solver for delivery blockers, project risks, and scope changes.
Navigate shifting priorities and evolving requirements with agility while maintaining delivery integrity and team momentum.
Technical Product Ownership & Requirements
Translate client business needs, technical workflows, and operational processes into clear, actionable product requirements.
Author and contribute to core delivery artifacts, including workflow maps, user stories, technical requirements documentation, and training guides.
Maintain a high standard of quality, consistency, and execution rigor from discovery through launch.
Client Partnership & Scope Management
Build and cultivate high-trust, collaborative relationships with day-to-day client stakeholders.
Envision and recommend strategic technical solutions that optimize workflows, elevate work quality, and drive client value.
Lead complex, evolving scope conversations and negotiations, setting clear expectations and actively managing scope creep.
Influence client decisions to align with agency delivery standards, strategic goals, and long-term business impact.
Operations, Resourcing & Business Management
Partner with account leadership to align work with broader business goals, contributing to new project scoping, proposals, and pitches.
Forecast and optimize multidisciplinary team utilization and capacity across concurrent workstreams.
Maintain real-time tracking and reporting of project health, budgets, burn rates, and forecasts using internal tools.
Contribute to delivery process evolution and department-level operational best practices.
Who You Are
A seasoned technical delivery leader with 6+ years of client management and technical production experience in a digital-first agency or studio environment.
Proven track record of leading complex, multidisciplinary technical projects from initial discovery and scoping through delivery.
An expert in delivery methodologies—from agile-hybrid to waterfall—with deep experience in scoping, budgeting, timeline development, and margin management.
A systems thinker who can translate intricate technical workflows and business needs into structured requirements and user stories.
Highly fluent in modern project management platforms, with direct experience building and managing workflows in Airtable, Asana, or Smartsheet.
A skilled communicator, negotiator, and relationship builder who can influence stakeholders and facilitate sound decisions without direct authority.
Comfortable with ambiguity, direct client engagement, and the dynamic pace of integrated agency work.
Collaborative, accountable, low ego, and passionate about creating operational systems that help teams do their best work.
Bachelor's degree in project management, operations, marketing, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Relationships
Reports to: Head of Accounts or Account Director
Internal Cross-Functional Partners: Account Directors, Technical Leads
External Partners: Day-to-day client stakeholders, technical partners, and third-party delivery vendors.
