Role Description: This full-time, remote Senior Technical Project Manager role at Travco Group leads complex technical projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The Senior Technical Project Manager coordinates cross-functional teams, facilitates project planning sessions, defines milestones, and manages dependencies and risks.

This is a hands-on technical delivery role, not a coordination role. You will translate business goals from marketing, sales, revenue, finance, HR and operations into scoped technical work, then run vendors and internal engineers to ship it.

The role sits at the centre of a group-wide effort to unify digital products, data and AI across departments. Your job is to ensure every platform we build or buy connects to one guest data foundation, one measurement layer and one roadmap.

Key responsibilities

Delivery and planning

  • Turn business goals from marketing, finance, sales, revenue management, operations and IT into scoped projects with requirements, acceptance criteria, budgets and timelines.
  • Run delivery in agile sprints using Jira (or equivalent): backlog grooming, sprint planning, releases, retrospectives.
  • Maintain one integrated roadmap across CRM/CDP, internal systems, AI and martech, with dependencies between them made explicit.
  • Track risks, escalate blockers early and report status to leadership monthly.

Technical ownership

  • Write and review technical requirements: data flows, API integrations, event schemas, identity resolution logic.
  • Lead CRM/CDP implementation, including audience design, activation to ESP, push and paid media, and integration with OPERA PMS and booking data.
  • Run UAT and QA; own the release checklist.

AI implementation

  • Scope AI use cases with business owners and define success measures before build.
  • Evaluate AI vendors, models and tools on cost, accuracy, data privacy and integration effort.
  • Confirm data readiness with the data engineer before any AI build starts.
  • Monitor AI systems after launch for accuracy, cost and guest-facing risk.

Vendors and stakeholders

  • Manage agencies and technology vendors: briefs, SOWs, SLAs, delivery reviews and invoice sign-off.
  • Lead vendor selection and RFPs for new platforms.
  • Train property and commercial teams on new tools and track adoption.
  • Keep documentation current: system inventory, integration map, runbooks.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in technical project or delivery management, including 3+ years on CRM, CDP or martech programmes.
  • Delivered at least one end-to-end CRM or CDP implementation or replatforming
  • Shipped internal business applications or workflow automation for non-technical teams, with in-house engineers or agencies, from requirements through release.
  • Working technical depth: can read API documentation, write a data-flow spec, query data in SQL, and challenge an engineer's estimate.
  • Practical exposure to AI or LLM projects: scoping, vendor evaluation or production rollout.
  • Agile delivery with Jira or equivalent; PMP, PRINCE2 or Scrum certification is a plus, not a substitute for delivery history.
  • Proven vendor and agency management, including SOWs and budgets.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; clear writer of specs and status updates.

Nice to have

  • Hospitality or travel experience, especially multi-property groups.
  • Integration work with Oracle OPERA PMS, booking engines or channel managers.
  • Loyalty programme or guest-account launches.
  • Cloud platforms experience.
  • Experience onboarding new properties onto group platforms; low-code or automation platforms (e.g. Power Platform, AppSheet, n8n, Make) and ERP or finance system integrations.
