Position Summary The Senior Technical Program Manager leads major technology-focused capital construction programs across the District, integrating IT, Facilities, and low-voltage systems into cohesive, high-performance environments. This role combines technical leadership, construction coordination, and multi-discipline stakeholder management to deliver network infrastructure, audiovisual, and physical security systems within scope, on schedule, and on budget. You will coordinate cross-functional teams including architects, engineers, College Project Teams (CPTs), District IT, and systems integrators to ensure compliant design, smooth implementation, and complete project turnover. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage 15–20 concurrent technology projects , each potentially up to $100M , including data infrastructure, AV, access control, and surveillance systems. Facilitate design coordination with architects, low-voltage consultants, and MEP engineers to ensure proper integration of IT and facilities systems. Provide technical leadership and oversight for physical security system deployments (e.g., Lenel, Milestone, Axis). Oversee audiovisual system deployments in classrooms, lecture halls, auditoriums, and athletic facilities ensuring ADA compliance and pedagogical effectiveness. Review and approve technical documentation including shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals for compliance and constructability. Lead risk identification, assessment, and mitigation planning in coordination with construction management and cost estimating teams. Ensure orderly commissioning, training, and hand-off of systems with documentation that aligns with District IT governance. Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular status reports to PMO leadership and stakeholders.
