Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead complex enterprise software and integration projects for customers across the EMEA region.

The Senior TPM will own projects from discovery through deployment, serving as the primary bridge between enterprise customers, engineering teams, product teams, and internal stakeholders. This role requires strong technical knowledge combined with proven experience integrating software with customer enterprise systems and systems of record.

The ideal candidate has 8–10+ years of relevant experience delivering technical software projects and is comfortable leading complex customer engagements involving APIs, enterprise integrations, cloud infrastructure, mobile applications, and distributed systems.

This position is based in Porto, Portugal. Below are the responsibilities for the role:

  • Lead complex enterprise software and integration projects across EMEA from discovery through deployment and post-launch support.

  • Serve as the primary technical and delivery liaison between enterprise customers, engineering teams, Product, and other internal stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with customers to understand business objectives, technical requirements, timelines, and success criteria.

  • Translate customer business and technical requirements into actionable project and integration plans.

  • Lead integrations with customer systems of record, including the exchange, reading, writing, and synchronization of business data.

  • Coordinate development involving APIs, backend services, mobile applications, cloud infrastructure, databases, and enterprise systems.

  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, dependencies, risks, priorities, and customer expectations across multiple concurrent initiatives.

  • Facilitate technical and architectural discussions between customer and internal engineering teams.

  • Lead testing, validation, release planning, and production readiness.

  • Drive structured troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex customer and integration issues.

  • Proactively identify project risks and drive mitigation and escalation plans.

  • Provide clear project status, risk, and technical communication to customers and internal leadership.

  • Mentor and support less experienced TPMs when appropriate.

  • Promote best practices in project delivery, technical documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements
  • 8–10+ years of relevant experience in technical project management, software delivery, software engineering, enterprise integrations, or related roles.

  • Strong technical background with the ability to work directly with software engineers and customer technical teams.

  • Proven experience integrating software with customer enterprise systems and systems of record.

  • Experience designing or delivering integrations that read, write, and exchange data with external customer systems.

  • Strong experience with REST APIs, integration workflows, authentication, and system-to-system communication.

  • Experience delivering complex enterprise software projects from requirements and discovery through production deployment.

  • Understanding of cloud environments, networking, databases, application architecture, and containerized applications.

  • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities.

  • Strong enterprise customer-facing and stakeholder-management experience.

  • Proven ability to independently manage complex projects, risks, dependencies, and escalations.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Fluent professional English.

  • Ability to work effectively with customers and distributed teams across the EMEA region.

  • Based in or able to work from Porto, Portugal.

The following are some nice to have requirements:

  • Experience with ERP, WMS, CRM, MES, or similar enterprise platforms.

  • Experience with platforms such as SAP or other business-critical enterprise systems.

  • Experience with Java, Kotlin, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, or Android.

  • Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native environments.

  • Experience with MySQL, MS SQL, OpenAPI, and API lifecycle management.

  • Familiarity with wearable technologies, IoT integrations, frontline workforce applications, logistics, or manufacturing.

  • Experience with DevOps practices and Agile or Scrum-based development.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Additional European language proficiency.
