JOB DESCRIPTION

The Senior Technology Project Manager – Quality & Delivery will lead the planning, execution, testing coordination, and successful delivery of technology initiatives across finance platforms and complex enterprise systems.

This role is responsible for managing technology projects from initiation through implementation, coordinating cross-functional teams, monitoring project risks and dependencies, reviewing business and technology processes, and ensuring that solutions meet business, functional, and quality requirements.

The ideal candidate combines strong technology project management and project leadership experience with a solid understanding of Quality Assurance (QA), testing methodologies, process review, defect management, and system implementation practices.

This is not a hands-on Software Quality Engineering or test automation development role. The position focuses on project leadership, governance, coordination, process improvement, testing oversight, and successful technology delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technology projects from initiation through planning, execution, testing, implementation, and post-production stabilization.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Technology, Engineering, QA, Product, Finance, Operations, and other business stakeholders.
  • Provide project leadership and ensure alignment between technical teams and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, testing readiness sessions, risk reviews, and stakeholder discussions.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and potential delivery challenges.
  • Establish clear project governance, ownership, accountability, and escalation processes.
  • Review existing business and technology processes to identify gaps, risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with business and technical teams to understand requirements and ensure appropriate alignment between business needs and technology solutions.
  • Coordinate and oversee testing activities, including functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and implementation validation.
  • Partner with QA and technical teams to ensure appropriate test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria are established.
  • Monitor testing progress, defects, remediation activities, and testing readiness to support successful releases.
  • Facilitate defect prioritization and resolution discussions and ensure critical issues are appropriately escalated and addressed.
  • Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities following implementation or production issues.
  • Ensure appropriate project, process, testing, and implementation documentation is maintained.
  • Communicate project status, risks, decisions, dependencies, and recommendations clearly to technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Promote consistent project management, testing, process improvement, and technology delivery best practices across initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in Technology Project Management, IT Project Management, Technology Delivery, Program Management, Business Systems, or a related technology function.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex technology projects and cross-functional project teams.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and the technology/software development lifecycle.
  • Experience managing project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and stakeholder communications.
  • Solid understanding of Quality Assurance (QA), software testing methodologies, testing processes, and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
  • Experience coordinating or overseeing functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Experience facilitating defect management, issue resolution, testing readiness, and implementation activities.
  • Experience reviewing business and technology processes and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise systems, system integrations, APIs, and technology dependencies.
  • Experience working with Workday applications and integrations.
  • Experience supporting technology initiatives related to finance business processes, including Invoice-to-Cash (I2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Record-to-Report (R2R)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing large-scale enterprise technology implementations, system enhancements, integrations, or transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project environments.
  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, Smartsheet, MS Project, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
  • PMP, CAPM, Scrum, Agile, or other relevant project management certification is preferred.
  • Experience working with globally distributed and cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with testing and automation tools such as Selenium or Power Automate is beneficial but hands-on automation development is not required.

  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining focus on overall project objectives, timelines, and business outcomes.

On-site presence is required only when necessary, such as for meetings, trainings, or collaborative activities, in alignment with the company’s telework agreement, which currently requires employees to work on-site three (3) days per week)
