Senior Test Analyst – SAP ECC & FI/CO

CloudMarc is seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst with hands-on SAP ECC, FI/CO and SAP transaction-processing knowledge to support enterprise business processes and system integrations.

Location: Sydney or Brisbane — three days onsite per week

Engagement: Contract

Start: ASAP preferred

About the role

This hands-on opportunity requires a testing professional who understands how transactions are processed within SAP—not simply how to follow test scripts.

You’ll be confident navigating SAP ECC, executing relevant transactions, validating data and explaining the business processes and outcomes you have personally tested.

What you’ll do

• Design and execute functional, integration, regression and end-to-end tests across SAP ECC, including FI/CO.
• Test SAP transaction processing, validating inputs, processing steps and resulting business outcomes.
• Execute relevant transaction codes (T-codes) and investigate unexpected results.
• Validate data across SAP screens, relevant tables and connected systems.
• Test interfaces, data flows and mappings, including article/SKU and master-data scenarios.
• Prepare test cases, test data and traceability against business requirements.
• Investigate defects with functional consultants, developers and business SMEs.
• Maintain clear test evidence and communicate progress, risks and outcomes.

Essential experience

• Proven experience at Senior Test Analyst level.
• Direct, hands-on SAP ECC and FI/CO testing experience.
• Strong practical understanding of transaction processing in SAP.
• Confidence explaining relevant T-codes, transaction flows, validation steps and expected results.
• Strong integration, regression and end-to-end testing experience.
• Ability to investigate data discrepancies and validate mappings between systems.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work independently.

General ERP exposure or experience solely in S/4HANA or SuccessFactors is not sufficient without demonstrable SAP ECC experience.

Desirable experience

• Retail environments, article/SKU data and master-data validation.
• API testing and scripting using Postman.
• Test automation, including executing or maintaining UFT scripts.
