What We're Looking For:

The Senior Test Engineer designs manufacturing test processes and leads the development of Manufacturing Test solutions and applications involving electromechanical hardware and software code development. The primary focus of this role is to design and develop highly efficient, optimized manufacturing test processes using the latest tools and technologies. Driven by an innovative mindset, the Senior Test Engineer influences provides technical direction to adopt modern manufacturing technologies that positively impact Zebra's business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process Optimization: Co-develop, strategize, and lead projects to create low-cost, highly efficient, and sustainable manufacturing processes aligned with international industrial standards.
• System Design & Development: Perform test software development and hardware design of manufacturing test systems for calibration and functional testing of electromechanical and opto-mechanical products (such as specialty printers, mobile computers, and laser/imaging scanners).
• Measurement Validation (MSA): Execute measurement validation and define acceptance criteria using Measurement System Analysis (MSA) tools (including Cpk and Gage R&R studies) to rigorously validate designed test systems.
• NPI & Sustaining Support: Support product testing throughout both the New Product Introduction (NPI) phase and subsequent sustaining engineering cycles.
• Technology Benchmarking: Benchmark test solutions against the latest industry trends and technologies (such as Lean Six Sigma and Industry 4.0/IoT frameworks) to continuously improve product quality, factory line efficiency, and throughput.
• Technical Documentation: Document all test solutions, schematic designs, drawings, and specifications in accordance with departmental standards.
• System Upgrades & Innovation: Proactively identify, change, or upgrade existing test systems, enhancing technologies to resolve complex, emerging engineering problems

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree
• Work Experience: 6+ years of experience
