SENIOR TEST ENGINEER
We’re looking for a Senior Test Engineer to ensure quality, reliability, and delight in every digital experience we build. You’ll play a key role in maintaining RUSH’s reputation for technical excellence while helping us achieve our purpose, to design and build technology to better serve humankind.
What You’ll Do
Champion Quality Across Projects
Lead testing activities across web, mobile, and interactive software projects — from early development through release and beyond.
Build automated end-to-end, integration, and unit tests as appropriate to maximise automated regression and other quality tests, across multiple platforms (ios, android, web) and tiers (frontend, backend, integration)
Work with the engineers to build out the automated test harness, and improve test brittleness, fragility and performance.
Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts that ensure every product meets the highest quality standards.
Perform system, regression, and exploratory testing across multiple platforms (iOS, Android, web, and Windows).
Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to identify and resolve issues early.
Support Live Products and Continuous Improvement
Monitor and test live systems, diagnose production issues, and help deliver timely fixes.
Log and analyse defects in Jira and TestRail, identifying patterns and areas for process improvement.
Create and maintain support and self-help documentation for teams and customers.
Contribute to improving QA practices, tools, and culture across the engineering chapter.
What We’re Looking For
Key requirements
6+ years of hands-on automated software testing experience across mobile and web platforms.
Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum delivery environments.
Proven ability to plan, document, and execute tests independently.
Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (TestRail, Jira).
Experience with automation tools such as Appium, JUnit, Maven, RestSharp, or Cypress.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills.
