Role Title: Senior TPRM Manager
BU/Segment: FRAC Consulting
Location: London, United Kingdom (Hybrid working 4 days a week in the office)
Employment Type: Permanent
Summary of the role:
The Senior Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) Analyst is a senior role critical to driving the organization's third-party and outsourcing governance framework. Acting as a bridge between operational delivery and senior management, this role not only executes complex risk assessments but also provides day-to-day direction, coaching, and quality oversight for the wider analyst team.
The Senior Analyst serves as a primary escalation point across the business (including Risk, Compliance, and Information Technology), spearheading continuous process improvements and ensuring the team's output consistently meets internal frameworks and external regulatory requirements.
As part of your duties, you will be responsible for:
Quality Assurance (QA)
- Team Supervision & Mentorship: Direct the daily priorities of junior analysts, providing technical coaching on risk concepts, regulatory requirements, and standard methodologies.
- Quality Control: Perform final QA checks on complex or high-risk deliverables (e.g., Material Risk Assessments) to ensure absolute accuracy and quality before executive review.
- Process Ownership & Training: Lead the development, maintenance, and training of standard operating procedures (SOPs). Ensure the team is proactively upskilled when processes or regulations change.
- Due Diligence & Monitoring: Oversee and execute robust due diligence and ongoing monitoring mechanisms for critical third-party suppliers and outsourced business processes.
- Risk Mitigation: Partner with Procurement, Risk, Information Technology (IT), Information Security, Legal, and Compliance leaders to ensure all third-party risks are proactively identified, effectively mitigated, and reported.
- Regulatory & Audit Readiness: Ensure the team’s operations remain compliant with evolving regulatory expectations. Oversee document repositories to maintain complete, inspection-ready audit trails.
- Business Partnering: Act as the primary liaison and relationship manager between the TPRM team, internal service owners, and external solution providers.
- Escalation Resolution: Serve as the central escalation point for complex third-party issues, independently resolving stakeholder concerns regarding timelines, risk exposure, or policy changes.
- Incident Response Coordination: Lead the operational response to third-party incidents, coordinating data gathering, assigning tasks, and ensuring timely executive communication.
- SLA Governance: Monitor and drive team performance against agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and internal key performance indicators (KPIs), implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Initiative Management: Lead key operational initiatives, continuously challenging existing workflows to improve oversight and control processes.
- Analytical Reporting: Produce and present comprehensive operational reports to senior management.
- Professional Experience: Significant experience in Third-Party Risk Management, Outsourcing Operations, or Compliance, with proven experience in a supervisory, mentoring, or team lead capacity.
- Domain Knowledge: Solid supplier management experience, particularly within information technology (IT) and business process outsourcing (BPO) environments.
- Risk & Control Acumen: Deep understanding of outsourcing oversight, governance frameworks, and supplier contract management. Ability to think critically and challenge compliance responses.
- Leadership & Delivery: Highly disciplined with an analytical mindset. Capable of managing team service delivery while maintaining a high-energy, positive approach.
- Communication & Influence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to translate complex operational issues concisely for senior management and maintain strong cross-functional relationships.
- Agility & Problem Solving: A proactive, solution-oriented attitude with the ability to unblock issues and work at speed in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced competence in Excel and hands-on experience utilizing industry-standard Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platforms to validate team outputs.
