ROLE: Senior Travel Program Associate - Asia Pacific, Americas, UK and Ireland Specialist LOCATION: Remote based in USA, Ireland, Germany, or Scotland JOB DESCRIPTION To meet the demands of our growing travel business, Context is looking to hire a full-time, Ireland, Germany, or Scotland-based Senior Travel Program Associate - Asia Pacific, Iberia, Americas, UK and Ireland Specialist. If you love to travel and have a few stamps in your passport, this is a great role for you! Our strongest candidates will have traveled to Asia, living experience in Asia and Japanese language skills are bonuses! We are expanding our Travel division and you'll have the opportunity to help shape the team. To be successful in doing so, you'll need to be able to work independently as part of a remote and distributed team as well as have strong communication skills, attention to detail and a strategic and process-oriented mindset. This role is fully remote and will be working on a CET timezone. US based candidates will be considered on an exceptional basis. This role reports to the Travel Portfolio Manager, who is based in New York and works closely with direct team members based in Europe and North America. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Tour Portfolio Management Design tours, including logistics, itineraries and crafting descriptions utilizing brand voice Support Tour Portfolio Expansion project initiatives in new and existing markets Proactively analyzes competitors and consistently aware of industry trends and changes; identifies commercial product gaps Reviews portfolio pricing and makes recommendations Update and maintain the regional and global tour product portfolio with changes to venues, itineraries, and tickets Edit and optimize tour product instructions and tour logistics for internal teams Edit and optimize instructions for the experts who run the tours; liaise with experts to understand necessary on the ground changes Build and maintain relationships with on-the-ground partners, vendors and suppliers in your region Problem-solve for region-specific disruptions and alerts that impact tours Fulfillment Support Provide direct support to our Fulfillment team for the region regarding ticket buying, reservation processes, and additional questions as they arise Provide support for other regions in the absence of other team members, utilizing team resources to find answers Support our Customer Service and Partner Sales teams with product and venue knowledge, problem solving and travel planning. Take an active role in KPI tracking for the region Work across cultures and time zones with our global teams: Client Services, Technology, Sales, Marketing, Finance & Expert Community Understand American business practices and communication styles as well as European and Asian cultural norms Occasional travel to meet teammates and suppliers and to conduct research on new tour development WHAT YOU’LL BRING The strongest candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of work experience, preferably with experience working remotely. Work experience in travel, e-commerce business, or focus on tour development will be beneficial to the role. Day-to-day, you'll need to be able to: Own your regional area end-to-end and be the go-to for internal teammates and external vendors. Raise your hand for projects and initiatives involving colleagues across time zones, functions, and levels - there are endless learning and growth opportunities Thrive in a fast-paced environment and understand the importance of speed-of-execution; be ready to make informed suggestions and decisions to tour itineraries and venue requirements Understand our end-to-end process and its impact on the customer experience, expert experience, and internal process scalability Prioritize weekly work for yourself with a view of the work for the month, knowing that “trade-offs” are part of prioritization and efficiency Learn to work within our best-in-class remote tech stack: Slack, Zoom, Guru, Asana, Front, Drive, and our home-grown admin platform. Strong preference for candidates with basic to intermediate data analysis/Excel skills. You are outgoing, personable, and humble in your interactions. Problem-solving: You are a systems thinker who looks for ways to improve and optimize your work for efficiency and quality control. Resourceful: You are a natural and curious researcher and can get creative when searching for answers or solutions. Attention to detail: You are careful and precise and value accuracy in your work.
