As a Senior Treasury Accountant reporting to the Director of Treasury, you'll play a senior and integral role within Nasdaq's Global Cash Management team — a core pillar of the Treasury function responsible for managing cash operations and mitigating operational, financial, and reputational risk.

You'll thrive in this position if you're analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a global mindset and a genuine passion for finance, technology, and continuous improvement. In this role, you'll take meaningful ownership of complex accounting and reporting processes, supporting EMEA and APAC business activities while partnering with stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Technology, and Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end accounting processes in Calypso (Treasury Management System), ensuring journal transactions are accurately prepared and uploaded to Workday (ERP) in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and review monthly GL reconciliations in OneStream, along with monthly investment roll forwards and interest reconciliations.
  • Own and execute SOX controls and quarterly SEC reporting schedules for Treasury.
  • Lead monthly close calls, reviewing results and proactively identifying and escalating issues throughout the close process.
  • Drive process enhancements and improvements across Treasury accounting and reporting functions, and provide senior-level support and leadership across a range of Treasury accounting projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, combined with strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, including posting accruals and journal entries — preferably within a Treasury function — and a strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and financial statements.
  • Experience in a multinational corporate treasury, bank, credit institution, fund management company, or similar environment.
  • Hands-on experience with a Treasury Management System (Calypso preferred) and ERP platforms (Workday or equivalent); strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and FX or hedge accounting.
  • Experience with reporting and reconciliation tools such as OneStream, Workiva, or equivalent platforms.
  • Exposure to EMEA and/or APAC treasury or financial operations in a global, matrixed organization.

This position is based in Vilnius, Lithuania, offering a hybrid work environment with at least three days per week in the office (subject to change), providing flexibility while supporting collaboration across global teams.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the European Union.

Please submit your application in English. As we review applications on a rolling basis, the position may close before the advertised deadline.

Individuals applying for or occupying this position must have no previous unspent convictions for criminal offences under the Criminal Code of the Republic of Lithuania, with the exception of offences solely related to minor road traffic violations.
