Clearprise is shortlisting experienced Unreal Engine gameplay engineers for an upcoming opportunity with an international game studio developing a AA first-person game for PC and consoles.
The focus is on engineers who can build reliable gameplay systems, work effectively within an existing production codebase, and contribute with minimal oversight.
You must bring substantial hands-on professional Unreal Engine experience. This opportunity is intended for established developers who can demonstrate their contribution to commercial game projects.
The studio is currently exploring talent as it builds its team. Interviews and joining dates will depend on project readiness.

- Integrate gameplay features with existing systems and production workflows
- Investigate and resolve gameplay bugs, crashes, and performance issues
- Profile and optimize gameplay code for PC and console requirements
- Review code, document technical decisions, and communicate implementation tradeoffs
- Take ownership of assigned features from implementation through testing and refinement
This role focuses on gameplay engineering. Multiplayer and networking experience are not required.

- Ability to work within an existing codebase and collaborate with other disciplines
- Evidence of personal contribution to commercial game-development projects
- Strong technical judgment, ownership, and independent problem-solving
- Clear professional English and reliable remote communication
- Ability to work full-time from Pakistan, aligned with the agreed client schedule
This is not an entry-level opportunity. Tutorial-only experience or personal prototypes without professional game-production experience will not meet the requirements.

- PC and console production experience
- Experience working on AA or AAA projects
- Console profiling, optimization, or platform-specific debugging
- Experience with character movement, camera systems, interactions, animation integration, or combat mechanics

You balance gameplay feel with maintainable implementation, respond constructively to design feedback, and take responsibility for delivering polished features.
