Senior UX Designer

Happy Horizon is looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our experience design team in Gennep. You will work on digital products and services for clients across sectors such as retail, healthcare, and public services, often in close collaboration with strategists, developers, and visual designers. Your work starts with understanding user needs through research, workshops, and data review. You translate those insights into clear information architecture, wireframes, and interactive prototypes. You present concepts to clients and internal teams, iterate based on feedback, and support development teams during implementation to ensure the intended experience is delivered. You will be part of a multidisciplinary studio with regular design critiques, shared methods, and room to shape how we approach complex design challenges. This role suits someone who enjoys balancing craft with pragmatism and who can explain design decisions in plain language. What you bring Five or more years of experience in UX or product design for web and mobile A portfolio showing end-to-end work from research through to shipped interfaces Confidence facilitating workshops with clients and cross-functional teams Experience with tools such as Figma, Miro, and prototyping software Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices Strong communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus for local client work HBO or equivalent education in design, HCI, or a related field
