At Billogram, we believe it always pays off to treat people well. That's why we've built a payment platform that covers the full lifecycle, from the first payment to full resolution. We make money when our clients' customers pay on time, not from the friction when they don't. Whether it's recurring payments, consumer invoicing, or enterprise billing, the principle is the same: one platform, designed to keep payments working and relationships growing.
As we continue to evolve our product organization, we are looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our team in Stockholm.
About the role:
For many people, an invoice is one of the few times they hear from the company they pay. That’s why we’re making the recipient experience a bigger focus across our product teams, and you’ll lead the way. Your challenge is to make the whole invoice journey clear, fair and easy, for both our clients and their customers. Rather than just delivering design requests, you’ll own UX at Billogram and make sure what we learn from users shapes what we build.
You won’t be on your own. You’ll work closely with product managers, developers and the teams who know our clients best, and build on a solid foundation we’d love your help to take further.
Primary responsibilities:
End-to-end design: Own the design process from research and user tests to prototypes, UI and copy, all the way until it's live.
The recipient journey: Make the invoice and payment journey simple, clear and accessible for our clients' customers, in our current and new markets.
Insights and impact: Meet our clients and their customers to understand what they need, use data and user insights to spot opportunities, and define how we measure the effect of great UX.
Design principles and system: Make our design principles clearer, question what we have today and grow our design system, so the experience feels consistent throughout the whole user journey.
AI in the workflow: Take the AI tools we use for design today further, from research and prototyping to new tools built with developers, and help the product teams do the same.
What we are looking for:
You're curious about the people you design for and creative in how you solve their problems, and you know when something is good enough to test. You set clear goals for your work and follow up on whether your designs moved them, for users and for the business.
You work well with others and explain your choices in a way people understand, whether it’s to one Product Manager or a full room of stakeholders. You're confident in your design decisions, and you can zoom out from a single feature to see the whole picture. When the user's needs are at stake, you speak up. Even when several teams need you at once, you stay calm and keep priorities clear.
Skills & traits which will help you succeed in this role:
End-to-end UX design: A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience across research, user testing, prototyping, UI and UX writing, where you've owned the work all the way from insight to release, not just a part of it.
Generalist with ownership: You’re used to working hands-on while also taking some strategic responsibility, such as setting up processes or ways of working. Ideally you've been the only designer or one of few in a start-up or scale-up.
AI in your workflow: You’re technically curious and use tools like Claude or Lovable alongside Figma to prototype, research and automate.
Data-driven: You use data and metrics to guide your design choices and to follow up on the effect of your work.
Communication: Fluency in written and spoken English is required. Fluency in Swedish is a plus.
Relevant Background: Experience from FinTech, payments, consumer-facing flows, or a fast-growing start-up or scale-up environment is highly beneficial.
