We made history and now we work to transform the future – for our customers, our communities and our families. You'll see your work on the road every day, helping people move freely and pursue their dreams. At Ford, you can build more than vehicles. Come build what matters.

Product Creation and Industrialization (PC&I) brings together Ford’s vehicle, electric, digital and design teams with our global manufacturing system. Working as one end-to-end organization, we turn ideas into high-quality vehicles, software and experiences across gas, hybrid and electric, designed around what customers need.

In this position...
Support the integration, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic systems in prototype vehicles and test environments. The role calls for strong hands-on vehicle electrical experience, practical diagnostic skills, and the ability to work directly with engineering, manufacturing, and technicians to investigate issues and verify updates.

What you'll do...

  • Support vehicle electrical system integration, design updates, and verification in prototype, pre-production, and production environments.
  • Build, test, rework, and repair low-voltage electrical systems and wiring harnesses.
  • Troubleshoot vehicle electrical concerns and contribute to issue investigation and root-cause analysis.
  • Perform hot and cold testing, e-fuse testing, and ground testing to assess system performance and support
  • investigations.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Use oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, CANalyzer, and other electrical diagnostic and test equipment to debug systems and verify fixes.
  • Support hands-on vehicle repairs and follow-up testing after system changes.
  • Document test procedures, results, and issues, and track work using tools such as Jira.
  • Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve concerns and support prototype builds and vehicle integration.

You'll have...

  • Experience supporting automotive or aerospace electrical/electronic integration, preferably in prototype, launch, or manufacturing environments.
  • Hands-on low-voltage troubleshooting, harness work, wiring repairs, and vehicle electrical testing.
  • Familiarity with CAN, CAN FD, LIN, and Ethernet diagnostics or signal debugging.
  • Experience using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, CANalyzer, electrical test equipment, and common hand and power tools.
  • Familiarity with DMC, Delphi, or Amphenol crimping tools.
  • Ability to read schematics and wiring documentation, investigate faults, and work effectively with engineering and manufacturing teams.
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction and clearly document technical findings.

You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!

As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice. You can choose what your Ford future will look like: will your story span the globe, or keep you close to home? Will your career be a deep dive into what you love, or a series of new teams and new skills? Will you be a leader, a changemaker, a technical expert, a culture builder…or all of the above? No matter what you choose, we offer a work life that works for you, including:
• Immediate medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage
• Paid parental leave, new parent ramp-up programs, subsidized back-up child care and more
• Family building benefits including adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement, fertility treatments and more
• Vehicle discount program for employees and family members and management leases
