As we continue to grow, we are looking to strengthen our strategic capability by hiring an industry focussed Senior Vice President for Corporate Strategy. Reporting into the Group Chief Strategy Officer, this role will have significant impact in several key areas where your responsibilities will include: Lead and govern the Group Strategy Cycle , managing four major milestones annually: Strategy Deep Dives with Divisions Transversal Strategy Week to align cross-functional topics Supervisory Board Strategy Week preparation and delivery Strategic contributions to Capital Market Day alongside Investor Relations Define, govern, and manage the “Disruption Book” —a forward-looking framework that identifies, assesses, and prioritizes critical disruptions across the Group that require strategic positioning. Drive Group-level strategic projects , including transformational topics (e.g., Sustainability Strategy), competitive repositioning, and cross-brand collaboration. Lead strategic employee communication efforts to embed group-level strategy internally; support external strategic communication for investors and key clients in coordination with Investor Relations and Marketing. Build and oversee a robust Market Intelligence Framework , including: Macro and micro market trend analysis Competitive benchmarking and positioning Customer segmentation and insight synthesis Act as strategic interface between Corporate Strategy and Nemetschek Ventures , ensuring consistency between venture investment priorities and the Group’s disruption agenda. Support scouting and due diligence activities related to disruptive trends, early-stage partnerships, and strategic investments. Lead or co-lead M&A projects , specifically: Large-scale or transformative acquisitions (> €50M revenue) Post-merger integration design, oversight, and playbook development Build and lead the Strategy Community across the Group: Organize regular cross-functional knowledge-sharing sessions Deliver an annual in-person strategy community seminar Cultivate an expert network among divisional strategists and C-level stakeholders Deliver on both qualitative (e.g., stakeholder alignment, quality of strategy execution) and quantitative (e.g., revenue, EBITDA, share price impact, M&A value) targets linked to strategy success. Serve as a senior advisor to the CEO and Group Executive Leadership Team on long-term positioning, strategic risks, capital allocation, and portfolio evolution. To be successful in this role you will require the following skills and experience: 15+ years of experience in strategic leadership roles, including: In-house corporate strategy in a multinational matrix environment . Significant experience from within relevant industries eg Engineering, Construction, General Contractors, or Building Materials Strategy consulting at top-tier firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain) Track record of successfully leading M&A deals and post-merger integration Experience working with executive boards and investor communities Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking, particularly on how efficiency can be improved through digitalization and AI-driven automation Strong facilitation and stakeholder management across all levels Deep understanding of digital business models, software/SaaS trends, and global market dynamics Ability to translate strategy into execution in a matrix environment Strong communication and storytelling skills; fluency in English required, German a plus Why Nemetschek?
