Tripleseat is a team of hospitality professionals committed to helping event teams meet the moment. Our event management software for venues is grounded in decades of real-world experience in kitchens, ballrooms, and back offices, built to calm the chaos and turn pressure into profit. Restaurants, hotels, and unique venues use Tripleseat to manage their events and grow revenue.
Marketing is not a support function at Tripleseat. It is half of our growth engine. Roughly 50% of our top-of-funnel pipeline comes from marketing-sourced leads today, and the expectation is that this share holds and grows as volume scales.
We have a strong foundation. We also have significant headroom: in paid search and performance efficiency, in showing up where buyers now ask their questions (AI answer engines, not just Google), in a website that behaves like a product rather than a brochure, and in a content engine that turns our hospitality DNA into a durable competitive advantage no horizontal SaaS company can copy.
At the same time, we are shipping more product than ever, including AI-powered capabilities and Payments. Every launch needs a quarterback who owns the plan from build to market, so the investment shows up as bookings, adoption, and retention rather than roadmap activity.
We are looking for a marketing leader who sees all of this as one connected system, and who is AI-first in how they build the team to run it.
What you will own:
The demand engine
- You own marketing's share of pipeline and the efficiency of every dollar behind it.
-
Build and run a predictable pipeline model with shared definitions across Marketing, BDR, and Sales, and own the inbound path from first click to booked meeting. The number that matters is qualified pipeline and bookings, not MQLs.
-
Lead paid search and paid media strategy end to end: keyword and audience architecture, bidding and budget allocation, creative testing, and landing experience. Treat it as a growth lever with a target CAC, not a line item.
-
Build an answer engine optimization (AEO) practice alongside traditional SEO. Our buyers increasingly ask AI assistants "what event management software should a restaurant use?" We need to be the answer the engine gives.
-
Run integrated campaigns across digital, field, events, partnerships, and ABM, tuned by segment (SMB restaurants, hotels, unique venues), with a disciplined experimentation cadence: what we tested, what we learned, what we are scaling.
Website and web experience as a product
- The website is the biggest piece of real estate we own and most of our pipeline touches it.
-
Own the website roadmap, design quality, and conversion performance. Treat it like a product with a backlog, release cadence, and metrics, and hold the team and agencies to a best-in-class standard for design, information architecture, and speed.
-
Partner with Product and RevOps to design self-serve paths on the site: pricing clarity, interactive demos, trials or free tools, and direct booking of time with Sales. Lower the effort to evaluate Tripleseat.
Content and the hospitality DNA advantage
- Our team has run hundreds of events. That credibility is our moat. Your job is to make it visible.
-
Build a content engine that sounds like an experienced ally who has been in the room, not generic SaaS: playbooks, benchmarks, operator stories, case studies, and data from millions of events that event teams actually use.
-
Develop a community and operator-voice program in the spirit of what the best restaurant-tech brands have built: a bridge between Tripleseat and the people running venues, so they see us as a peer and a source of insight, not a vendor.
-
Run program coordination across the marketing team and with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Partnerships, so launches, campaigns, content, and events land as one coherent story rather than parallel efforts.
Product marketing: quarterback from build to launch
- Product marketing is a newer function here and one of the most important. You will scale it into the center of how we go to market.
-
Make product marketing the owner of the launch plan for every meaningful release, including AI-powered products and Payments: positioning, pricing input, packaging, enablement, customer communication, and launch campaign, with a clear owner and a date.
-
Build the positioning, messaging, and competitive intelligence frameworks the whole revenue organization uses, and weave them through demand gen so campaigns and sales conversations say the same thing.
-
Partner with Product early in the build cycle so market insight shapes what we build, and measure every launch on adoption, attach, and bookings impact.
Customer marketing and lifecycle
- Customers who stay longer and expand are as important to our plan as new logos.
-
Design lifecycle programs that drive adoption, Payments attach, cross-sell and upsell, and renewal readiness in partnership with Customer Success.
-
Build the customer community, events, and advocacy engine (references, reviews, case studies) that retains customers and feeds new-business pipeline, and own the voice of the customer inside marketing.
An AI-first marketing operating model
- We want a leader who thinks about the future of marketing, not one who has added a few AI tools to the old way of working.
-
Redesign how content, campaigns, and creative get produced with AI as the foundation, so a 15-person team operates with the output and speed of a much larger one.
-
Set the quality bar and the governance: what AI produces autonomously, what requires human judgment, and how the brand stays coherent as volume scales.
-
Deploy AI across personalization, predictive scoring, intent and signal detection, and attribution.
-
Build a team culture of AI fluency and experimentation, and be a visible leader in Tripleseat's company-wide AI transformation, not just within marketing.
Measurement, systems, and the executive table
-
Define and own marketing KPIs (pipeline contribution and share, CAC and payback by channel, stage conversion, launch adoption, lifecycle outcomes) and the attribution models and dashboards that Sales and Finance trust.
-
Partner with the Head of Revenue Operations, who owns system administration, on process, data integrity, and the marketing technology stack (CRM, ABM, analytics, AI tooling). Advocate for what marketing needs and drive adoption.
-
Deliver clear, honest insights to the executive team and board. Say what is working, what is not, and what we are changing.
-
Serve as a core member of the revenue leadership team and influence company strategy and growth priorities.
How we will measure success in the first 12 months:
-
Marketing-sourced pipeline at or above 50% of total pipeline, with growing absolute volume and improving quality.
-
Paid search and paid media efficiency measurably improved, with a CAC and payback model the executive team uses.
-
An AEO practice in place with Tripleseat showing up as a recommended answer in our category.
-
A website roadmap shipping on a cadence, with measurable conversion gains.
-
Every major product launch, including AI-powered products and Payments, run through a product-marketing-owned plan and measured on adoption and bookings.
-
Lifecycle programs contributing to Payments attach, expansion, and retention.
-
A content and community engine recognized by event teams as the voice of the industry.
-
An AI-first operating model with documented workflows, quality standards, and clear productivity gains.
-
A marketing team with a stronger bench, clearer ownership, and leaders in demand gen, product marketing, content, and customer marketing.
What you bring:
-
10+ years of progressive marketing leadership in B2B SaaS, with experience at the $50M to $300M ARR stage and a track record of scaling pipeline through that range.
-
Deep demand generation expertise, including hands-on fluency in paid search, SEO and AEO, web conversion, and the full funnel from click to closed-won.
-
Experience building or scaling product marketing, and running launches that moved adoption and revenue.
-
Customer marketing and lifecycle experience tied to retention, expansion, and attach metrics.
-
Demonstrated AI-first leadership: you have redesigned how a marketing team works using AI, not just adopted tools, and you can show the results.
-
Strong analytical rigor: attribution, cohort analysis, CAC and payback, and the judgment to act before the data is perfect.
-
Board-level and executive communication skills. You present clearly, own the numbers, and change course when needed.
-
A builder's mindset and low ego. You lead from the front, you make it happen, and you take care of the team around you.
What sets you apart:
-
Experience marketing to restaurants, hotels, venues, or the hospitality operators who run them. If you have worked in hospitality yourself, even better. Our customers should see our marketing leader as someone who understands their world.
-
Experience in SMB-focused software, where volume, velocity, and efficiency matter as much as narrative.
-
Experience in a private-equity-backed growth environment with clear accountability for pipeline and efficiency.
-
Experience with product-led growth, payments or fintech attach, or marketplace dynamics.
The team you will lead:
You will lead and grow a 15-person team across demand generation, content and brand, product marketing, and customer marketing, with support from agencies and partners. Part of your mandate is to decide what this team looks like in two years: which roles grow, which are redesigned around AI, and where we invest next.
Travel: Moderate. Expect regular time with the team in Concord and Boston, time in market with customers and at industry events, and occasional travel for company meetings and trade shows. Our customers are in the room, and so are we.
Salary Range: $250,000 - $290,000 annually
Compensation is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, skill set, geographic location, and alignment with our internal compensation framework. This role is also eligible for additional benefits and incentives.
