Senior Video Editor

Video Editor (Paid Ads) | Fully Remote | €1,800+/month + performance bonuses

We're Kandy, a performance marketing and e-commerce growth agency. Our editing team of 80+ makes ads for DTC brands, including AI-generated UGC and video content built to convert.

We need an editor who makes videos that stop the scroll and sell, not videos that win awards nobody cares about.

Most video editor job ads sound the same: "passion for storytelling," "creative visionary," "collaborative synergy." Then you show up and it's templated work every day. This one is different, so here's what we actually need.

What you'll do

• Edit short- and long-form ads for Meta, TikTok, Instagram
• Work directly with Creative Directors and Media Buyers to make videos that sell
• Build hooks that land in the first 3 seconds
• Use music, sound design and motion on purpose, not randomly
• Keep every edit consistent, on-brand and high quality, and raise the production value on premium content
• Work with AI-generated footage and modern AI workflows alongside traditional editing
• Hit every deadline, and flag problems early

What you bring

• A portfolio of paid social ads (required)
• Advanced Premiere Pro plus whatever else gets the job done
• Storytelling instinct: you know why someone keeps watching
• Performance marketing knowledge (big plus). Your edits should convert, not just look good.
• Speed, and hunger to learn new tools and trends
• Strong written and spoken English, and clear communication. We work as a team, not as isolated islands.
• Sound design skills (bonus)

What we don't need

• Editors who go silent when a deadline is at risk
• Editors who treat "creative" as "ignore the brief"

You'll have real creative freedom to push boundaries and try new things, but we keep it data- and trend-driven.

The deal

• Fully remote
• Freelance contract, paid by monthly invoice in EUR
• €1,800+/month depending on level, plus performance bonuses tied to output and quality
• A clear path to a higher band as you grow
• Work on real DTC brands alongside a large, experienced editing team of 80+

Candidates get a short test edit based on a real brief.
