Senior Video Editor / Post-Production Specialist

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Video Editor / Post-Production Specialist to take full ownership of the post-production process — from organizing raw footage to delivering polished, platform-ready videos.

This role goes beyond cutting footage together. You’ll work with multi-camera recordings, shape the narrative and pacing, handle color grading and sound, create motion graphics, and use AI-powered tools where they improve the production process or final result.

We’re looking for someone who can independently manage complex editing projects, make strong creative and technical decisions, and deliver high-quality work without constant supervision.

What You’ll Own

• End-to-End Post-Production: Manage the full editing workflow, from reviewing and organizing raw footage to final export and delivery.
• Editing & Storytelling: Structure large volumes of footage according to the script and project goals. Shape pacing, rhythm, transitions, and narrative flow to maintain viewer attention.
• Multi-Camera Editing: Work confidently with footage from 2–4 or more cameras, including media synchronization and consistent visual output.
• Color Grading: Perform color correction and grading, match footage from different cameras, and work with Log, RAW, and different color profiles.
• Audio Post-Production: Edit and mix dialogue, music, sound effects, and ambient audio. Balance levels and prepare final audio in line with platform requirements.
• Motion Graphics & Visual Effects: Create animated titles, lower thirds, subtitles, infographics, masks, tracking, and basic composites.
• AI-Assisted Production: Use AI tools for video and image generation, voice synthesis, lip-sync, cleanup, upscaling, and other post-production tasks where relevant.
• Creative Asset Selection: Independently source music, sound effects, stock footage, and additional visual elements that fit the project's style and objectives.
• Technical Delivery: Manage codecs, frame rates, proxies, media organization, and export settings to ensure reliable delivery across platforms.
• Revisions & Quality Control: Implement feedback efficiently, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain a consistently high quality bar while meeting deadlines.

What You Bring

• 4+ years of professional video editing experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating ownership of editing and post-production.
• Advanced proficiency in DaVinci Resolve, including Edit, Color, and Fairlight, plus basic working knowledge of Fusion and/or After Effects.
• Proven experience editing multi-camera footage with 2–4 or more camera angles.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, rhythm, visual composition, and audience retention.
• Confident color grading skills, including camera matching and working with Log, RAW, and different color profiles.
• Practical audio editing and mixing skills, including dialogue cleanup, music, SFX, audio balancing, and final loudness.
• Ability to create basic motion graphics, animated titles, subtitles, tracking, masks, and simple visual effects.
• Understanding of video formats, codecs, frame rates, proxy workflows, media management, synchronization, and export requirements.
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered production tools such as Higgsfield, ElevenLabs, or comparable solutions.
• Experience working across multiple formats, such as vlogs, podcasts, interviews, narrative videos, advertising content, social media videos, and full-length shows.
• Ability to independently source suitable creative assets, respond to feedback, and make sound editorial decisions.
• Strong self-management, attention to detail, accountability, and consistent deadline discipline.
