SENIOR VIDEO EDITOR & TEAM LEAD (REMOTE)

Great editors are common. Great editors who can also lead a team are not , that's who we're looking for.

Render House is a video editing agency behind some of the fastest-growing real estate channels on YouTube. We produce long-form, talking-head-driven content, lifestyle, neighborhoods, pricing, and market insights across U.S. cities.

Our team is 36 editors and QCs strong, and we need a senior editor to raise and hold the quality bar, lead a group of editors, and keep projects moving.

This is a hands-on editing role AND a leadership role — you need both. Editing skill is the first thing we check: if you can't cut a video, this isn't the fit, no matter how strong your management experience is.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Manage projects day to day: assignments, deadlines, and capacity across your team
• Own the quality bar — QC other editors' work and give clear, actionable feedback
• Lead and mentor a group of editors: unblock them, level them up, keep their work consistent
• Help build and maintain our editing playbook and SOPs so every editor knows exactly how we do things
• Work closely with the founders to keep delivery on time and clients happy

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• A strong portfolio of long-form editing — ideally talking-head and/or real estate content
• Expert in Premiere Pro & After Effects
• A real editor's eye: you understand hooks, retention, pacing, b-roll, and story for YouTube — not just technical cutting
• Experience leading or mentoring other editors (or clear readiness to)
• Organized and reliable — you can run deadlines for a team without dropping balls
• Strong, confident English — written and spoken

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in an agency or high-volume content environment
