Senior Voice & UC Engineer / Microsoft Teams & SBC

We are looking for an experienced Senior Voice & UC Engineer to oversee, maintain, and enhance our enterprise communications infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and supporting our Microsoft Teams Phone Direct Routing ecosystem, managing AudioCodes SBCs, and ensuring high-availability VoIP operations across our hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft Teams Phone Direct Routing architecture.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize AudioCodes Session Border Controller (SBC) products.
• Perform deep-dive troubleshooting and packet analysis (SIP signaling and RTP media streams) to resolve complex voice quality and connectivity issues.
• Administer, maintain, and secure Windows Server and Linux Server environments.
• Support 24/7 mission-critical production environments and participate in the team’s on-call rotation.
• Write automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell, or Python to streamline operational tasks.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and operating complex cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
• Voice & UC Expertise: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Teams Phone System and Direct Routing setups.
• SBC Knowledge: In-depth hands-on experience with AudioCodes SBC hardware/software products.
• VoIP Protocols: Solid foundation in VoIP communications with expertise in SIP and RTP debugging/packet capture tools.
• OS Administration: Proven experience in Windows Server and Linux Server administration and operations.
• Scripting: Proficiency in Bash, PowerShell, and/or Python for task automation.
• Support Experience: Demonstrated background in production service support, troubleshooting critical incidents, and participating in on-call schedules.
