At Ford, we are the movers of the world and the makers of the future. We get up every day, roll up our sleeves, and build a better world—together. At Ford, we’re all part of something bigger than ourselves. Are you ready to help change the way the world moves?
Do you believe reliable, cost-effective connectivity is essential to keeping a global business moving? Ford’s Network Services organization supports critical operations through global WAN and carrier services. Strong financial management, supplier performance, and cross-functional coordination help ensure those services meet business needs while delivering value.
We are seeking a Senior WAN Financial & Program Analyst to support the financial, supplier, and operational management of Ford’s global WAN and carrier services. In this role, you will partner with Network Engineering, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and strategic suppliers to improve cost visibility, strengthen supplier performance, and support reliable connectivity for Ford’s global operations.
This role combines financial analysis, supplier and contract coordination, program support, and stakeholder communication. You will help manage budgets and forecasts, track carrier services and commitments, identify cost-optimization opportunities, and support network transformation initiatives.
Financial Planning, Reporting & Governance
- Manage financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for global WAN and carrier services.
- Support WAN financial governance, including purchase orders, invoice tracking, budget reconciliation, forecasting, and supplier-spend oversight.
- Develop and maintain financial reports, cost-allocation models, operational dashboards, and executive-level presentations.
- Analyze costs, commitments, and financial trends to identify risks, variances, and optimization opportunities.
- Provide stakeholders with clear visibility into budgets, supplier spend, financial commitments, and forecast assumptions.
- Partner with Finance and Network Services teams to support financial controls and improve reporting processes.
Supplier, Contract & Carrier Management
- Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, Network Engineering, and Operations to manage supplier budgets, contracts, and performance.
- Support carrier contract renewals, circuit demand planning, and commercial activities.
- Track WAN circuit inventory, service delivery, financial commitments, and supplier performance.
- Coordinate with carriers and service providers to drive service improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support stakeholder communications and supplier coordination during major network service disruptions.
- Help identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency, service quality, and supplier accountability.
Program Coordination & Network Transformation
- Support global WAN transformation initiatives through financial analysis, supplier coordination, project tracking, and executive reporting.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving Network Engineering, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and external suppliers.
- Track deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and decisions that could affect financial or program outcomes.
- Support clear communication of initiative status, financial impacts, supplier actions, and key milestones.
- Help improve processes for circuit demand planning, inventory tracking, financial reporting, and supplier coordination.
We recognize that no one person will embody every quality or skill listed below. If you bring strong financial and analytical skills, supplier-management experience, and an interest in supporting global network services, we encourage you to apply.
