Senior Brand and Web Designer (UI/UX) - Conversion Rate Optimization.

You set the visual/brand direction for a company website and turn it into a homepage and seven reusable page templates in Figma. From these templates, we will build out a site with hundreds of pages. You then review every page as it's built from your designs and correct it until it matches your intended standard. This is a heavily UI/UX / CRO role. The Ideal candidate has a background in branding from the ground up, UI/UX and Web Design.

To My Future UX/UI Senior Brand and Web Designer,

Scale Smartly places senior offshore talent with US founders. We have built teams for Jacob & Co, Elite Daily, Grow Enrollments and Fifth Weapon, across finance, operations, marketing, technology and creative.

As the company continues to grow, I am looking for a hands-on Senior Brand and Web Designer/UI/UX designer to work directly alongside me and take our brand and website further than I could direct on my own. The whole thing from the ground up. This is for a top tier designer.

Behind our success is our team. I believe my employees are my greatest investment, which is why I have created a truly special place to work.

We already have a website, a brand, client stories and a clear idea of who we serve. What I do not have is someone with the eye to turn that into a site that looks like it belongs next to the best in our space. Our current colors, fonts and layouts are a starting point. I want your judgment on what should stay, what should change, and what the finished site should become. We have a technical project manager working with us to help you turn this into reality.

Your first project is our homepage and seven page templates. Those templates become every role page, client story, service page and landing page we publish after that. We build with Claude, so you will set the direction in Figma, the pages will be built from it, and you will review the live result and correct it until it meets your standard.

This role is heavily focused on creative direction, CRO, UI/UX typography and spacing, responsive layouts, reusable Figma components, and reviewing built pages until they are right.

I am looking for someone who can explain why a design works, who notices when a page is off and can say exactly what is wrong, and who takes responsibility for the finished result.

A site that looks like a template costs us clients who never call. Design taste and CRO skills are non-negotiable.

What You'll Be Doing:

Brand and Creative Direction

- Understand the business, our ideal clients, our services and what sets us apart.

- Review the existing brand and website and recommend a cohesive visual direction.

- Develop the typography, colors, imagery, layouts and graphic treatments that carry that direction.

- Present concepts and explain the reasoning behind them.

- Turn feedback into better work while bringing your own ideas.

Website Design and User Experience

- Design the homepage and seven page templates: role pages, client stories, service pages, landing pages, pricing, about and contact.

- Organize content so a visitor understands what we do, finds the role they need, sees our work and takes the next step.

- Design navigation, calls to action, forms and interactions.

- Design every page for desktop and mobile.

- Balance a premium look with readability and ease of use.

Figma and Design Systems

- Build organized Figma files with reusable components and styles.

- Set the rules for typography, spacing, buttons, cards, testimonials, navigation and other shared elements.

- Prepare assets and clear guidance for the build.

Review and Follow-Through

- Review each page as it is built and identify what needs to be corrected.

- Follow spacing, typography, layout and interaction details through until the live page meets the intended standard.

- Make it easy to add pages without losing consistency.

Ongoing Design Work

- Design new landing pages, role pages, service pages and client stories as the business grows.

- Improve existing pages based on results and feedback.

- Extend the website's direction into decks, client pages and other brand materials.

Must Have:

- A strong portfolio of real, launched marketing websites.

- Experience personally setting or substantially changing a website's visual direction.

- Advanced Figma skills, including Auto Layout, components and reusable design systems.

- Strong command of typography, layout, hierarchy and responsive design.

- Experience designing website navigation and user journeys.

- Experience reviewing live pages during a build and getting them corrected.

Preferred:

- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus.

- Websites for recruiting firms, consultancies or other B2B service businesses strongly preferred.

- Experience using AI tools to prototype or refine designs is a plus.

Who You Are:

- You can explain why a design works, not just that it looks good.

- You notice when a page is off and can say exactly what is wrong with it.

- You take responsibility for the finished result, not just the file you hand off.

- You treat taste and follow-through as non-negotiable parts of the job.
