Senior Web Developer | Remote — Latin America
Full-time | 40 hours per week | USD $2,080–$3,467 per month
Monday–Friday. Typical team hours: 9 AM–5 PM Eastern Time; flexibility can be discussed based on project delivery and team coordination.
Start: As soon as possible.
Corsa is recruiting for an established full-service North American marketing agency. You will build and maintain client websites with a team spanning design, project management and digital strategy.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Build reliable, fast and maintainable websites for a full-service marketing agency serving a varied client portfolio. You will own technical delivery from architecture and development through testing and launch, working with designers, project managers and digital strategists.
This is a hands-on coding role with a strong WordPress foundation. The team also values developers who use AI thoughtfully and can combine custom development with low-code tools when that is the right fit for the project. Strong intermediate and senior developers are welcome; the scope and compensation will reflect demonstrated ability.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Own custom WordPress and headless CMS builds, from technical planning through QA and deployment.
- Develop custom themes, blocks, plugins, backend structures and API integrations.
- Turn Figma designs into responsive, accessible interfaces with close attention to visual quality.
- Manage hosting, deployment workflows and production troubleshooting.
- Improve website performance, security, technical SEO and Core Web Vitals.
- Maintain clean, documented code using Git and dependable testing and release practices.
- Collaborate on scope, feasibility and estimates; review technical work and support less-experienced developers.
- Evaluate AI-assisted and low-code approaches while retaining ownership of code quality, security and maintainability.
WHAT YOU BRING
- At least 3 years of relevant professional web development experience, with a portfolio demonstrating substantial hands-on coding responsibility.
- Strong WordPress skills: custom themes, custom blocks, ACF and API integrations.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP.
- Experience deploying and maintaining websites in hosting environments such as WP Engine, Pantheon, AWS or Cloudflare.
- Practical Git, version-control and modern build-tool experience.
- Understanding of responsive design, accessibility, technical SEO, Core Web Vitals and web security.
- Clear professional English for collaborating with a North American team. Additional languages are welcome.
- Availability for a full-time remote role from Latin America, with reliable internet and a suitable workspace.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- 5–7+ years of experience and evidence of independently leading complex website builds.
- Practical AI-assisted development and low-code website-building experience, supported by real projects.
- React, Vue or similar JavaScript framework experience.
- HubSpot CMS, Sanity, Contentful or other headless CMS experience.
- Agency experience balancing multiple client projects.
HOW TO APPLY
Fill out the application and include a public link to a one-minute introduction video in English, required for your application to be considered.
The client will be able to watch your video, so we encourage you to share your relevant experience and explain why you would be a great fit for this Senior Web Developer role.
Please make sure your video is public so that anyone with the link can watch it.
Include your resume and a portfolio or work-sample link. Share 2–3 website projects and explain what you personally built, the technologies used and your contribution to the result. Include AI-assisted or low-code work if relevant. You may also attach a portfolio document. Do not share confidential client material or private source code.
Shortlisted candidates will meet with Corsa and may be invited to a client-led technical interview or assessment.
