Senior Web Software Architect, AI Experiences Join TeamViewer in the US and help shape the future of digital workplaces through innovation and collaboration. Apply now TeamViewer provides a leading Digital Workplace platform that connects people with technology—enabling, improving and automating digital processes to make work work better. Our software solutions harness the power of AI and shape the future of digitalization. We believe that our diverse teams and strong company culture are key to the success of our products and technologies, that hundreds of millions of users around the world and around 645,000 customers across all industries rely on. With more than 1,900 employees worldwide, we celebrate the unique perspectives and talents that each individual brings to the table and foster a dynamic work environment where new ideas thrive. Are you ready to join our team and make an impact? Behind every feature in our web application stands an architecture — and this role owns it. The Client Web Shell team is responsible for the foundation of our entire web platform: the shell that loads, composes, and connects independently built features into one product used by hundreds of millions of people. As our Web Frontend Architect, you won't just build within this system — you will define it. You'll decide how dozens of teams ship into a single application, what our build and delivery pipeline looks like, how fast the product must be and how we get there, and how AI-powered experiences are woven into the core of the platform rather than bolted on. This is a role for someone who thinks in systems, not screens: your decisions become the blueprint every frontend engineer at TeamViewer builds on. Are you ready to join our team and make an impact? Responsibilities Own the architecture and technical direction of TeamViewer's web platform, including the frontend framework, component library, accessibility, performance, and user experience. Define standards for how AI-powered features and agent experiences are delivered consistently across TeamViewer web products. Establish frontend architecture standards, including component design, reusable patterns, design systems, and maintainable code structures. Drive quality through automated testing, accessibility compliance, performance monitoring, and AI experience evaluation. Lead architecture reviews, provide technical guidance, and support teams during project delivery. Partner with engineering and architecture teams to ensure alignment across products, platforms, and locations. Maintain clear architectural documentation and proactively identify and mitigate technical risks. Requirements 10+ years of software engineering experience, with deep expertise in large-scale web application architecture. Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, design systems, and modern frontend architecture patterns. Experience designing and scaling AI-enabled web experiences, including performance, reliability, accessibility, and user interaction considerations. Strong understanding of frontend quality practices, including testing, accessibility, and performance optimization. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience evaluating technical risk, including dependencies, open-source software, and compliance considerations. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. What we offer Competitive compensation and bonuses Flexible PTO and paid holidays 401(k) with employer matching Comprehensive Health insurance package including 100% employer-paid medical coverage Up to 12 weeks of Parental Leave Basic Life Insurance, Short-Term & Long-Term Disability, 100% employer-paid Quarterly teambuilding events, leadership luncheons, and companywide “All Hands” meetings Open door policy and business casual dress code We celebrate diversity as one of our core values. Join c-a-r-e and lead change initiatives together with us! Work location for this position is Austin, TX. TeamViewer is an equal opportunities employer and is committed to building an inclusive culture where everyone feels welcome and supported. We C-A-R-E and understand that our diverse, values-driven culture makes us stronger. As we continue to grow as a company, we also focus on enabling our employees to grow both personally and professionally. We are proud to have an open and embracing workplace environment that will empower you to be your best no matter your gender, civil or family status, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, education level, or race.
